IMO its either the weapon being too OP or the enemy are too fragile.. after a while i got some cash to buy a better weapon, the enemy turns into coins be4 they can appear on the screens..

Actually accuracy seems to be the money you got vs. the money you could have gotten if you killed everything AND collected all the money.
Still, it's easy to get above 80% on the first level.

The accuracy is broken I went through the first level making sure I hit everything and I only got 55% accuracy. That is bull crap!

For those complaining about the lasers, don't forget that this game was made with school memories in mind... the hot dogs from the cafeteria would indeed make awesome weapons!

Whenever I play one of these scoller-shooter games and end up with a working weapon combo that makes the game easier, I always pat myself on the back for being so clever. Then I remember:
"Hang on, you just took the most powerful weapon in the game and strapped it onto your ship as many times as you could. That's not clever. That's common sense."
Then I walk away, no longer feeling so special anymore.

My mistake. Only the first plain is void of the ability. I think it should have a it cause collecting early on is crucial.

I keep trying to play this, but between the hitbox being absolutely massive for what amounts to a bullet hell game, the painfully slow rate of fire on the weapons, accidentally ramming enemies I'm perfectly capable of killing with my weapons, and the inexplicable lack of any Coin Magnet whatsoever, the game just winds up being an exercise in frustration every time.

Stars don't count if collected after the death of the last enemy. Additional weapon slots cost 1/3 of the ships price, then 2/3, then 3/3. Weapon levels cost 1/10 of the weapon's price, then 2/10, then 3/10 and so on. Weapon speed does not develop, high is good. Weapon damage when starting with X develops approximately like X*(1+1.3*(weapon level-1)/9). My advice: Buy and max out plasma shot (thanks DAWN1378), the heli (15K), minigun, last ship (100K). If your game runs slow you'll have a bad time (bullet hell). When you get hit it may be advisable to crash-erase further on-screen objects while invulnerable.

When I successfully finish a level the amount of money I get is less than the amount shown in the success screen. When I fail I get the money shown at the point of demise. Please make your numbers consistent.

here is how i played: gind a litle on stage 1 till about 1000 then buy plasma shot and max-then buy the purple airplane under the default use plasma till laser then buy green heli in the 2nd row 2nd spot then save for minigun and max then save for the red helicopter that costs 100k

There's no balance at all. The faster weapon shoots - the better it is.
All weapons are one hit, not a single one go-through. Bombs are useless, as they are too slow. Went from laser straight to minigun, which is OP.

I felt like a little kid yelling at the planes as they shoot hot dogs and peas at me. Then when I got the minigun, I felt like I turned into Rambo. Someone turn the sound on that thing!

NW1 was better, it had the Speed Upgrade Path, better ships and weapons. Also, Frag Bombs could get more Frags with Damage upgrades.

joemama1512 is WRONG. Accuracy is based on amount of ROUNDS where at least one shot hits the enemy. So if you have a new plane/helicopter that can have 3 weapons equipped, for each time they fire as long as ONE of them hits an enemy, it doesn't count as a miss. You could complete a stage with only the left weapon hitting and the middle and right weapons missing every single time, and you'll end up with 100% Accuracy. This is true even if you let ships pass by you. Please rate this up and joemama1512's in the Best Comments section down so people see this and not joemama1512's comment and get bad information.

this is even worse than notebook wars 1. I don't really understand why kong staff adds badges to games which don't work properly and their gameplay is just awful. Don't take me wrong i love games from 90s like that, but this one been created in 2011 and is a way worse than those 15 years older.

I do not see why everybody says the lasers look like uncooked hot dogs... I think they look like hot dogs cooked on a grill.
