@Top60 Yes, the homing missiles make the game, but its not about the money, its about dodging the bullets.
That is, on hard mode. I wasn't aware of survivor mode. I'll try that to feel the difference.

Agree with many of the other comments. Maxed plasma. 2 damage amplifiers, top level ship. You simply cannot kill things fast enough. I could see myself getting there with luck on the bomb/rapidfire drops. Otherwise no, you can't kill the stuff fast enough and live through the hits you have to take to do it.

"Go back to upgrade" and then you can choose "More games" and "Nxt lvl". What do you mean, back? Aaah... You mean "Nxt lvl" and then "Hanger".

I get less damage against a single target from a level 17 meteor gatling ("5091" dps) than from a level 11 plasma bomb ("403" dps), near as I can tell from comparing other weapons the plasma bomb is really about 700 (I think the aoe and initial hit are both full damage) and the asteroid is maby 400

I think there is an error in the level 7. The number of enemies is 92, and at the end of level is 92/92, but on the map is 92/93...I missed something?

The fastest way of getting all 3 badges (without cheating):
Do normal mode. It's possible to make it to the last stages without dying. Only spend money on upgrading weapons on DPS. or ship with more slots/speed. Max out at Northrop ship. Later levels give more coins. So you'll be able to make it to last stages. And gather lots of coin. Do not get stars until you beat normal. Game is easy.

you know it's bad when even with two 25% dmg boosters and maxed level meteors barely touch the last wave minions, but then pwn the boss
why are ships that are crazy expensive only have one wepon slot
I mean, you can get a cheap ship early with 2 slots, that literaly doubles your firepower, lol.

For those of you wondering what to buy, get plasma gun right away (great damage for the price) and upgrade it a few times. Then save for the Northrop ship (~4.6k). Then buy frag grenades & upgrades, then 2 money printers, and finally save for the plasma bomb. Easy!

Any rating I was going to give this game was reduced to one star (and would be less if I could rate it lower) when it became apparent that even with music set to zero, the game still plays music between levels. What makes it even worse is music controls are set globally (ie in the main menu only; no local sound controls), but only reflect changes locally (ie, only in gameplay screens is the music muted). Poor design!

Best of these yet and I like the series quite a bit, but there's myriad of ways it could be improved... 1) Frenetic should give slightly more money than Normal, and Hard should give MUCH more.. 2) Equipment slots that work like weapon slots (1 for early ships but up to 3 for later).. 3) more upgrades like starting with an extra bomb or health drops being more common.. 4) CRUNCH the upgrade levels for weapon, like 5-10 at most... 5) LESS plane choices, it's ridiculoud.. 6) auto-equip new plane on buy, and saveable weapon loadouts... etc etc
