DPS is complete bullshit. lvl 14 plasma bomb does "440" dps and lvl 21 pig gun does "2545" dps. Yet when I do lvl 19 with these and compare, I can get SIGNIFICANTLY farther with the "far weaker" plasma bomb. This is a great game, but I find this flaw rather annoying.

I liked the new version of this game except having to buy new addons for each new ship. later on in levels it is no problem but early on you want every extra penny. Also maybe I missed it but I would like to be able to see how each ship fires before buying and using it. Overall a great job keep up the good work.

For anyone trying to get all the stars: Getting 3* on either Frenetic or Hard will award all the stars for Normal as well. Note that 3* on Hard does *not* award the stars for Frenetic.

You don't need any luck to beat the last couple levels getting all the stars... just needs lost of years of Contra :-P

an over kill bullet should turn into a pierceing bullet and carry damage to the next ship in sight and should you still be a over kill do the same thing and so forth

Unfortunately it takes a bit of random luck on the last three levels, it's a pretty good game otherwise, but those last three levels require you to have at least one extra bomb and also have one of those double attack speed items available for a particular part in each. Should really cut down on the luck requirement there.

This is surely abnormal... but, particularly during the last level, I started to envision those dark energy balls as little cocoa puffs coming at me.

Is it just me, or is the laser absolutely worthless? It's supposed to do more damage than the sonic gun (both at lvl 25) but it can barely kill anything...

Once you get to about level 17 and you cant complete any more, go to the hardest level and constantly run into planes (but dodge bullets) as fast as you can, as well as using bombs. Repeat this and you'll get all the money you'll ever want, and more (I quite accidently got 100,000 in less then a minute)

Maybe after you've completed or failed a level, there could be a hangar button straight away so you don't have to go to the home screen all the time? Just a suggestion thanks!

hurts my ears when you have a ship with a decent magnet and pick everything up at once, you should have it play the pickup sound only once every frame or two instead of having a dozen instances of the sound effect playing at once

Guys rate this up. If you redo the first level three times and upgrade the starting weapon: the simple machingun at level 16 it gets really strong. If you keep upgrading it it costs less than upgrading other guns or buying them and its extremely strong. Level 16: 41 DPS and 61 accuracy

I like the survival mode its intence if you get the last ship and the green plasma shooters you will dominate other then that the campaign takes for ever but thats a good thing.Awesome game hope to see Notepad wars 4 soon.

For those having trouble getting 3 stars on the last levels, this is how I did it without much trouble. Of course use the Triplane - Upgrade Plasma Bomb to full level 25 - Equip 2 Damage Amplifier. The trick is to not be afraid and fire from the bottom of the screen, you need to be as close as you can to enemies so that all 3 streams hit them and kill them before they can fire off too many shots and giving you the area to move around and avoid.

Like the artwork and overall gameplay. It's well made, but the weapons could need some balancing. There's almost no reason at all to get anything but the Plasma Bombs, and for aircraft it's pretty much a forced choice as well to get the Triplane. After that, money is useless and there's no variation at all. Really wish there was more endgame upgrades, and in the beginning a bit less grinding. I have understood afterwards that "grinding" on the frenetic is a faster way than normal but well, I still don't like the grinding for money in the beginning. Tips for new players: Get 3 slot aircraft fast, and get almost any other weapon than machine guns, and 2xmoney printers. After that and advancing a few levels you will get around 5k+, even 20k+ at lvl 10+, per run you do, even if you fail some. Only level 20 made me have to repeat for progress, even if I had full meteor and later plasma bomb. Meteor is much weaker than it looks on numbers.
