Yeah, the game's fun... but... you have the exploitable survival mode. To wit: just save for homing missilies, go survival, AFK for a while, return, spend all money upgrading them, rinse and repeat, till you have a 3 slots weapon, with money printer, and maxed homing. Then just enter survival and let it run in the background for a while. Return, max all your weapons.

wooosh awesome just beat all the lvs in frantic might come back for to complete the hard mode. anyway it's been a while since i didn't enjoy spending some time to beat a game thanks a lot ! 5/5

I'm not convinced the money printers do much. I did a level with no addons and got about $8000, and then repeated it with two money printers and got $10000.

A couple things: Sure, we complained that lasers were hot dogs instead of lasers. Then we find out that, in this game, a real laser totally sucks. Second, I've noticed the stars for Frenetic mode are shown as red, instead of purple. Also, some of the upgrades are kind of overpriced at the start - all you have is one weapon slot with the worst weapon in the game, with the only upgrade currently available is for the worst weapon in the game. Other than those things, this is a pretty good game compared to the last couple games - only that all these models of plane is kind of ridiculous, nobody is every going to buy a non-3-slot plane once they do.

honestly, the level 16 glitch is annoying.....i cant even tell what is stronger because i dont know how the dps ends up falling

@itzsean: (fre·net·ic/frəˈnetik/Adjective: Fast and energetic in a rather wild and uncontrolled way: "a frenetic pace of activity") since that difficulty level makes things faster and less stable i think it's well used.

I played such a game when i was VERY little on my 486 got bored of it then so did not play longer then 1 min, but looks well made.

You don't seem to understand DPS. My meteor gun says it has 9000 DPS but it does far less damage than the plasma bomb at 3850. The S stands for Seconds. All seconds should be the same. :\

Fun game and worthy follow-up. The new modes are appreciated, and bring up my only complaint. Aesthetically, I found it hard to discern which levels I had stars on or not based on the "world map scoreboard". Many, many upgrades that go unused, but better to have more choices than not enough.

Upgrade System needs a lot more thought.
I also don't see ANY reward in playing low levels in frenetic or hard mode as they are harder and give hardly more cash then the same in normal. I figured I'd rather just stack up at normal and then return ... or maybe just .. NOT

'Frenetic'..? Don't you mean.. Frantic? I understand copyright from the shooter, 'Frantic' but if this is a typo.. it's a pretty huge one. Just saying. /Grammar Nazi

An oversized hitbox AND my bullets overlap and hide enemy bullets? Such detriments shouldn't exist in the third installment of a series.

OK, I'll believe that all the stars is achievable. But is there a trick? Do you use the best plane and guns or is there an obscure combination that wipes the enemy out?

this game was good but i only had 2 problems, 1 was that the ships were not in order so it was harder to c wich one is better and the other problem was that when i take out an item from my ship it just disapears and i cant equip it again until i get the money once more.

Three games and it's exactly the same game engine, the same mechanics, the same planes, the same weapons, the same enemies, the same graphic assets, the same musics, the same sounds, the same menus, etc. I really don't know why this game series deserved yet another badge.

There are moments when I regret throwing all my cash into buying the Pig Gun rather than saving for my Meteor Gat... but then I remember that I have a cannon that shoots ANGRY PIGGIES.

Excuse me
What is that thing in the lower right? That little action bubble with an indecipherable icon inside of it? It's not in the instructions. It's pissing me off.

@flowflows: Weapon DPS means how much damage per second the weapon can deal to a SINGLE TARGET at a time. If the weapon doesn't have any explosive properties to spread the damage around (which the weapon you are talking about certainly doesn't) then it probably isn't going to be very efficient. DPS isn't a lie, it's just that the weapon properties itself factor in at how well it is at dealing out its damage.

Getting 3 stars on hard mode should fill 3 stars in frenetic as well. Its annoying to play the same level twice even after you defeated hard

Not sure why ppl keep going on about the Meteor Gatling...simple testing will show that it's absolutely inferior to the Plasma Bombs even though its stated DPS is the highest.

5 hours of my life... BUT I GOT ALL 180! Here's the trick: Triplane (duh). L-side Meteor. Center Homing Missile. R-side Meteor. Bosses take way more damage than normal enemies from bombs; you can beat the final boss with a max stack of five with autofiring a single Meteor Gatling Gun.
PS: GRIND LEVEL 8 WITH TWO MONEY PRINTERS! You can get the Triplane in a scant ten minutes by running it about 12-15 times. Regardless of weaponry, the armor alone will let you skate to Level 14. Good luck!

Nothing original, but the gameplay is well executed. There were a lot of unnecessary upgrades that I don't think anyone uses, but I guess that's not a major complaint.

Here's some math on level 20 hard: 105 enemies presented in 120 seconds. Each enemy has about 50,000 health. A fully upgraded Meteor Gatling does 9K DPS. Two damage amplifiers add 50% damage. Say the powerups equal one damage amplifier and the dmg waste on a level is 10%. The used ship has 3 slots. The DPS throughout a whole level is: 44550. The dmg done is: ~5,346M. The health is ~5,250M. The required accuracy = ~98%.
