This game has a classic, inginuitive, almost Mario-like feel. Reminds me a lot of Upgrade Complete (but without the upgrade part). Excellent 5/5 game.

I was kinda thinking... That HOW CAN A SMALL PLANE DESTROY 500 TANKS 10 BILLION PLANES AND 5 ROWS OF PLANES THAT SHOOT OUT ABOUT 3 BULLETS?!?!?! Anyways nice game 5/5!

That's hell of a great game! I loved design very very much, it's so well done, it's unbelievable. 5/5 for design, 4.5/5 for gameplay, because many weapons will lie unused (they are really sucky).

pretty easy game once you get frags took me like a minute to kill boss but very fun overall i am going to play the next one now, thanks for the fun.

Love the graphical style, the game itself is far too easy. 5/5 but only if I can get out of this strange 'You Win' screen repeating bug I seem to have encountered - it won't stop...

The sonic shot and the laser are garbage. All the little beam weapons are decent, and the rockets will take you to frag nice and quick. The H Bomb is a nice tactical weapon, if you use it well, it's almost as good as the frag. It's damage rate is ultimately to slow to be a better weapon even for bosses.

Man, H bomb is rough, it's great for the last four stages once speed is fully upped, but forget it anywhere else, those little bastards will be gone before you're ready to fire again!
Kind of fun and strategic though. To use it effectively you have to be hitting the next to last guys in a group with the right and left shots and sending the middle shot a little between the middle of the group, just close enough so it strikes the hitbox of the center-most plane. Wham, instant group kill! Kills anything but the UFOs and up in one shot right away! Another good strategy I've found is to memorize the layout of the enemies in the stage, and for the side with less health, put frag bombs on the slot on that side and the middle. Now it's like you'd using frags almost normally, but have free bombs too! (A BIG help for level 15. Cuts the time to beat in half.) So yeah, it's got its uses. Also try frag/laser in the middle and H to the sides for an ol-school Salamander/Gradius feel.

I liked the oldish looking artwork. Also I found it funny that the 1st games boss was harder than the 2nd games boss. but I guess that how it goes when you can shoot stuff off of bosses. Keep up the good work.

Here's what I shouted to phillyof97 in case anyone else is interested: I just replayed the final boss, and here’s a good one for you. Save a couple bombs for the enemies that show up with him at the start. I used helicopter and frag bombs x3. Helicopter had 620 health going in. I had already beaten it doing the normal swerving, so I just sat in the middle. The super-damaging fuzzy shots never hit me, only normal bullets, which do like 5 damage. So I just sat there the whole time after the enemies were gone and just let the game go. Finishing health was like 440. Frag weapons were at levels 6/7. Hope this helps.

This is to everyone saying the last boss battle took a long time. Go try playing borderlands and face sledge. That one takes 30 minutes. And they just get longer and longer. I know on your second play through its close to an hour.

Fun shmup, but I do have a few suggestions. First: this may be more of an opinion, but with your hit-box being your entire ship, and the enemy's tendency to literally cover the screen with fire, the only option until you purchase and really upgrade the Frag Bomb is to take the hits and hop you don't get too broken before the level ends. I'd personally prefer the hit-box to be a more centralized location, so that you can actually dodge shots instead of just tanking them. Second: the Frag Bomb really is the only weapon that's worthwhile. The others become outdated and near-useless within about two stages of your buying them, and upgrading barely affects that. (Basically, they could use more balancing.) Those two things aside, I like the aesthetic, and it plays quite well. Great job!

I actually really like the graphics! the games good but a game like this doesnt need storylines but it would be cool if it did :)
