REALLY wish you'd gone with it in a fun little artsy way, capitalizing on its uniqueness, rather than the generically long grind shooter you opted for. Really starts to lose quality during the slog.

For the last boss, you can stay between its eyes and only the pink balls will hurt you. With a decent frag bomb, you can outdamage it easily.

As quiuquio said, for the final boss, you can hide in the gap between a horn and one of the cannons for a safe zone if you would rather have ez mode for the fight. In fact, the body of the boss doesn't harm you if you bump into it, and the cannons cannot rotate 360, so once you find the safe spot, you can grab a cup of coffee or something and watch the fight happen.

the sounds effects start to wear on my nerves after about half a level, especially with the early weapons, but a good time waster.

I think the game is fun and great and all that. Only thing I'd say is fix the bug or whatever that gets rid of the score/save screen when you beat a level after you've completed level 15. I'd like to continue playing and try out the other weapons fully upgraded, but I'd also like to be able to save my progress after levels as I earn money. Thanks

Go to level 5. Wait until helicopters are on screen. Bomb them. Gather the money. Pause and quit. You get 490 each time. Just the quickest grinding method at this point.

Nice game. Dont buy the h bomb because it is horrible even fully upgraded. Buy frag and upgrade it... it will dominate.
Btw those wondering you add 2 "frags" every time you upgrade the damage level on frag grenades. These "frags" are bullets that explode out of it and when you have 20 its amazing :)

What the hell was the creator of this game thinking when he designed the last bossfight? Literally over 10 minutes of constant shooting, and I can honestly say the most boring bossfight I've ever done in ANY GAME EVER. Good game otherwise but the ending just totally ruined the game.

This game is fun but flawed.
There are serious balance issues when it comes to enemy hit points. The tanks are undoubtedly the most difficult enemies in the game but there is zero incentive to actually take them down in terms of money/points/stars.
Also, boss encounters seem like less of a "battle" and more like an endurance test to see if you will actually stare at the screen for 10 minutes straight to avoid an occasional spread of 6 bullets.

Make bullets way smaller. Put in a "Toggle Quality" button, too many animations killed my old slow computer. The game lacks of variety, insert some different enemies with different weapons. Cut in half the hitpoints of player's plane. Cut in half and then in half again the hitpoints of enemies, first of all the bosses. Insert some power ups for the nuke wich activates with space. Lower quantity of cluster bomb's fragments. Adjust all other weapons and make 'em of some use, cluster bombs are way too superior. Overall 3/5.

Got some overpowered baddies here. The tank turret takes 18 hits from my lasers + 1 bomb to kill. Throw in the other bad guys who take 6-7 shots from lasers to kill... makes it really hard to kill things.

final boss has way too much HP, it wasn't difficult, but it took absolutely forever, I'd hate to know how long that just took me :(

I was having fun until the final boss, which is ridiculously tedious and boring. Hundreds of bullets drop the framerate to 1 until the ships around the boss are gone, and then there's half an hour of waiting and floating back and forth in the same pattern. Also, you'll need to grind for an hour or so first to upgrade your weapon. Horrible idea.

The upgrade interface is a bit confusing. I thought the upgrade from bullet to plasma ball was disappointing in level 4, upgraded both a level, did not notice a difference in their performance. Didn't realize I needed to hit the Equip button after I selected the weapon i wanted and it looked like it was good to go :/

I believe this game tries to hard to be a restylized version of Frantic. I found that there were too many enemies on the screen at once and no fast way of killing them. The "bombs" were random and ineffective. Boss fights - too long, too hard. I don't need new enemies lined up behind the boss where I cannot hit them. In Frantic, at least, you can destroy the boss's turrets to weaken him. Upgrade system - most upgrades a) cost too much and b) do not help at all. However, good art. Improve gameplay.

o.O People have joked about being able to walk away from the last boss... DO IT! Max out your frag and bullet (no idea if bullet helps but I had the extra cash, so why not!) Position yourself at the very bottom middle... wait for the line of ships to arrive, use the bombs like mad (Not moving) then just sit, maybe make a sandwich, do homework, go outside, meet your soulmate, get married, go on the honeymoon and come back to watch the last bit of the battle!

Bosses should reward more money and ships should have a special attack, (shield or laser of some sort) last weapon, H Bomb, major disappointment. good game though, 5/5.

A good game overall, really love the artwork. But the final boss gives new meaning to the term endurance fight. I do enjoy the 2nd one more though. This would be longer, but I just spent the last 6 or 7 weeks fighting a giant colored pencil ship, I need to rest.

Man, H bomb is rough, it's great for the last four stages once speed is fully upped, but forget it anywhere else, those little bastards will be gone before you're ready to fire again!
Kind of fun and strategic though. To use it effectively you have to be hitting the next to last guys in a group with the right and left shots and sending the middle shot a little between the middle of the group, just close enough so it strikes the hitbox of the center-most plane. Wham, instant group kill! Kills anything but the UFOs and up in one shot right away! Another good strategy I've found is to memorize the layout of the enemies in the stage, and for the side with less health, put frag bombs on the slot on that side and the middle. Now it's like you'd using frags almost normally, but have free bombs too! (A BIG help for level 15. Cuts the time to beat in half.) So yeah, it's got its uses. Also try frag/laser in the middle and H to the sides for an ol-school Salamander/Gradius feel.

I enjoyed the game until I got to about level 10. I got frustrated with how long it took to kill many enemies. It got boring. I wanted to beat the game with something besides the frag bomb. Lasers worked fine until I got to the final boss and did virtually no damage. The weapons are incredibly screwed up. Most of the guns receive little to no improvement with upgrades, even when they cost 20k. Whereas the frag grenade gets exponentially better, and requires no skill. And the upgrades get too expensive. Replaying a level once for cash is fine. Replaying that level over and over to get enough money to power up weapons is tedious and lame.

I love this game. You made the obvious hand-drawn elements of the art blend in PERFECTLY with the game. It doesn't wow me, it doesn't have anything to hate, it's just... a good game. Solid 5/5.

There aren't words in any known language to describe just how awful the final boss is. After 10 minutes of bullet dodging and trying not to get seizure from the flashing every hit causes I just gave up.

It was okay, the game was a bit grindy. Also, for the final boss i used frags damage level 5, speed level 4. For the other levels, use plasma bullets in all three slots, fully upgraded.
