BTW this was a great game, YOU ACTUALLY NEED AN I.Q. TO PLAY, if not use the walk through, otherwise don't whine because your stupid.

All birds = golden egg, go left of city hall the left again then round corner, there should be a thing with dots on it when the all black a golden egg will be on top.

Some hints/spoilers......Screwdriver + cloth in stinky grate. Light it to get piece. Hook + string used twice so far--sewer and sink. Give the librarian by the sink a book (duh.) Look at the soldiers buttons for the switch arrangement. No idea what to do with the birds so far....

This is a brilliantly engaging game made abysmally horrible by poor implementation. No sane person would spend the ten years it would take to finish this without a walkthrough. There are too many "necessary" items and areas that are not visible to the player.
And then at the end, after spending all that time mucking about, if you don't find the 10 birds, you get an extra kick in the balls from the author for your trouble.
All you did was leave me pissed off at you. This game could have been great. As implemented, it was barely enjoyable and not at all satisfying.

To get the puzzle in first room in the book house on the -2 floor: first go into the armory, press the picture, press the mans shirt or whatever it is, look at his buttons (remember them), go to the -2 floor in the book house and turn those cirkel thingys until they are like the buttons on the picture mans shirt. hope that helps ;P

To get the puzzle in the sewer:
when in the yard go down and press on that nice and big stone that u suposed to see....take the string the the right of the stone. then press the right side of the stone...there u find a key.
(thats not used to get the puzzle)
press the weel and then take the hook to the right of the weel remember to take the coin. conect the string and the hook and use the "hook on string" item to get the puzzle in the sewer ;P

gave up when i got 2 i searched everywhere even put the lighter on in the 'Scary' room which is pitch black and no light came up to find nuffin really hard 3/5

combine the screw driver with the lighter go to the passage put the 'small torch' in the hole then light it with the lighter and will see a goblin like creture.Give him the small coin (by the well) then u will get a peice of the puzzle.
i'm still figureing out how to get the rest.
