(mild spoiler)
Oh right, so the stone isn't for something mystical, useful and probably way beyond ancient technology. Its a door stop. *hits head*

Very short, but not bad. HUGE props to making the scene transitions both useful and fast! Too many games in this genre have been ruined by having the scene changes be instant (so you have no context for the next scene) or with slow animations for the transitions. The very quick slides keep this game from becoming tedious!

And the best part is, this story is completely irrelevant. True, it maybe is what happens to Mur before Sub1 (play Sub2 if you don't know who he is), but it's still NOT THE RIGHT ARTIFACT!

On the anubis statue (doggy statue), you gotta place the jewel from the order from top to bottom. (Jewel3, Jewel2 then Jewel1)

Short and sweet. Unlike the other sub games, I don't need a walkthrough to finish it, which is always nice. Kind of wish there was a bit more to tie into the rest of the submachine story, but the game is really well-done and I can tell how much thought has been put into it. :)

Definitely 5/5 not only for a great game but for those awesome spears. I had fun repeatedly making them shoot out of the walls.

Spoiler Alert:
Do not read this unless u have beaten the game or are bored of this game but havent beaten it and just wants to know how. people who have the jewels and stone. go back to the one hall where the spikes are. not the one where u turn the thing for jewels, the one on the right. place the stone one the bottom area of the space to enter where the bottom 2 spikes go and just enter. you should know the rest.

Typical for me, I guess. Many comments on how easy this is and I can't find anything to click on. I have 3 jewels, a stone, and the lighter... and can find nothing in any single room to click on. No items combine. Nothing to do. It's certainly not "easy" because there's no logic or puzzles to think through. I must be missing a single pixel somewhere. That's not a game... it's an annoyance.

Despite playing this years later I still wonder about the story behind submachine, like how you ended up there in the first place etc

oh my, that was short...but sweet! I take the endless power and wisdom of the ancient crystal onto my next journey, into the depths of Sub5...may it serve me and all those on the Sub path well

The ancient crystal of wisdom looks like the little icon that hangs over the characters heads in any "Sims" game. lol

The stone was fairly invisible to me so this game wasn't as good as it could have been. Aside from that, pretty neat.

so. i used a walkthrough in every game in the cube escape series, so ive embarked on my journey, governed by my terrible decision to not use any walkthroughs for this series.

I was clicking on that broken stone with the stick for like 10 hours. I thought you had to stick on the end of the slab we had and make a makshift lever, but oh it's a door stop. My bad.

I get it now... the crystal is the symbol of the sims because you can choose your path in life just like in the sims you control their life

This game can be hard. But if you're like me, you would just right click and notice play wasn't active, click it, and win.
