Holy crap. I spent way too long after I broke the phonograph searching the bloody rooms for secret areas before I realised that I didn't need to try to collect a blasted wisdom gem. Can I blame its white appearance for making me think it wasn't there?

@V956970&Mucupurulent: Play the other Submachines or DaymareTown, they all will get longer *remembering fully spent saturday on SM9* @the guy wo voted nothingmattered down: Why? It's a nice comment about an excellent game of an outstanding dev, so... Vote for nothingmattered, guys ;D

Again: Great game, but way to bloody small, even when you ctrl++ it up 5 times. I only found the 2 tunnels in the metal tower by coincidence, desperatly clicking everywhere to find somthing to use the coils.

That code for the light at the top was a nuisance, but other than that, I think I did really well. I've always loved the Submachine series, but I could never beat them without help.

the e=mc2 is randomized. you havta read the notes for the numbers. the equation is solved thus: c multiplied by c (c2) which is then multiplied by m. so: c times c times m = e.

*starts game* wow not nearly as many doors this time this will be much easier to navagate *finds sewer key then goes into sewer* FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I think I overthought this a little...
I ignored the details of the lighthouse painting (since it was irrelevant in the last game), and assumed the correct code on machine was a 3-step sequence from Conway's 'Game of Life.' For the curious: there is no valid 3-step sequence (or even 2-step sequence) for each of the possible values in the code. Oops...

for those stuck at the end.. the way up to the bulb has two side ways. also, the one where you have to put in a code, where "e" is engraved, remember the name of the cat. for the other code, take a good look at a photo of the building you're in. the rest should be doable without help

you can make the manx triskelion with the wierd four armed thing. Go to the topmost part of the RHS of the window (adjust as necessary).

I love how he alluded where submachine 2 was going to be in the first one by putting an image of a lighthouse on the wall

The sewers were a real pain. One does not simply cross them and find everything unless he uses a pattern. And 10 minutes.

@hypatiaB: Pff, dividing by zero… been there, done that. Check out hyperreal and surreal numbers. With those, dividing by zero is not a problem.

This game is a lot more creepy if you: 1. turn the light off, 2. turn the sound to a not-too-quiet level, 3. imagine being barefoot or even naked at that place, 3. imagine the smell of smell some old dusty stone walls, 4. imagine there’s somebody else at that place, with you, always just out of sight, 5. promise yourself to play it all in one go, not eating or anything before you get out of there.

I wonder what Tab does. *Boop* Fahk! RED ALERT! *Shoots self with M1911* God, John, couldn't we just tell him it was Special Effects? Nope.
