My theory about the teleporters is that there isn't just one teleporter, but a whole network. The XYZ coordinates belong to an area, and the system connects you to the teleporter in that area. The 32-chambers teleporter was probably very old, hence it was destroyed when attempting to send you back to the lab (or wherever you tried to teleport to.) It may have lasted a teleport in, but not out. Makes me think that it's the oldest, and maybe the first, teleporter in the submachine system, which may suggest that the network was built by someone. Does that make sense?
Short version:
The teleporter is not teleporting, it's opening a portal. When you got teleported to, for instance, the sand room (sub. 4); you didn't see the same teleporter, but a unique teleporter for that area.

it seems you can get the game into an unwinnable state by not collecting all the parts before going to the end section. that's not really a good thing.

so he's connecting the story with the whole 2012 thing? thats really stupid yet with a person as creative as this, i'm sure it will be incredible.

I like ending :) For those who don't understand: Mayas calendar ends 12/21/2012 (21.12.2012) and some think that it means end of world... And when you finish this game "end of world" is reset to year 7k and some more (dont remember exact year) :) .... cool, isn't it :D

The easiest topaz to get is the one under the floorboard... There is a mole glyph which would make you think of digging, and arrows pointing right at the floorboard. How could you miss it?

Really a great game. It has just that little bit more then other search-and-click games, and I like how there is a story included, which is rare for a short game like this. (I liked the plot very much, I'm sure now I'll get presents for Christmas 2012 ;)). This certainly deserves a 5/5.

oh also adding up the year it was prolonged to equals 18 (7+1+3+7=18) which is equivalent to 6+6+6=18 or just plain old 666.

hmm, I've got the 8 jade and the 4 plates in the final wheel. Sadly, no matter what I try the only part of the wheel I can rotate is the outside. the head is still upside down and I can't move it. Am I doing something wrong here or is that a bug?

It seems like it's been too long since the last proper Submachine game. While these side-games are good in their own right, the main series really needs to continue...

Having a lot of trouble with rotating the final puzzle too. Restarted the game twice to try again, failed every time. Ruined an otherwise awesome game.

I did'nt really get the end, i could tell at first it had to do with 2012, but then it went like 5000 years forward, can someone explain it please? Thank You
