Great game! Second one of the series that I didn't need a walkthrough for, yet still challenging enough for me to consider it... 5/5. My only gripe, is "dimension" is spelled wrong. Before anybody b!tches about spelling nazis, consider that a game this good should be as professional as possible and that includes spelling things correctly...

@gaminglover
If you juice the light bulb on the bottom area a gate will open on the left. If you go in, there will be a blue wormhole that brings you to a level with 5 machines where you can put the tokens in.

@Exodyus
you should try playing from the beginning. The first parts are a little different then the other parts. And even though you didn't find the person at the end, you got a lot of information about the submachine. There where also references to earlier parts of the game. If you play all the parts including the parts to come you will get the entire story off the submachine with a bit information in every part.
It is really worth it.

PatKDay, if you don't like the genre, you can't judge it fairly. That would be like me playing a FPS game and down-rating it for "too much shooting!" People who like point-and-click exploration/adventure games love this series, nearly universally. The puzzles are strange, yes, but not "illogical" as you claimed; they contribute to the very surreality of the Submachine games that so many people find appealing. Your claim that it was difficult to distinguish between background and interactive objects was also rubbish, as the cursor changes when it moves over any such objects. I didn't see your first comment, but given the rude tone and absurdity of your second one, I imagine I would've downrated it also. People downrate comments that are unhelpful, obnoxious and/or misleading in their characterisation of the game; your second comment, at least, contained all three of those flaws. Don't chastise others for giving your comments the ratings they deserve.

Great game got all secrets and finally got a little more of a grip on the story love how you find the same note that you find at the end in the lighthouse definitely the best of the series so far of course like all other submachine games 5/5 great story love how you find out that Murtaugh has been destroying the dimension.

The glowing box went into a box-shaped hole, Sarth. You probably saw it and didn't think to put the box there, like I did, and solved the symbol puzzle with just 4 clues. For everyone else, there's a fantastic walkthrough over at the Casual Gaming site, jayisgames. Well-organised to allow you to find just the clue you're looking for without having to ruin all the puzzles for yourself. Just search for Submachine there, and walkthrough/review articles for all the Submachine games will come up. (I'd just give the URL, but I think that would break a rule.)

Huh. After all that time, I feel - without. =/ This was the first of the game that I have played, however if they all are anti-climatic like this one, I don't really feel the need to play anymore.
Granted, you did an excellent job with the graphics, the scripting and mechanics is superb, and the challenges were extremely well done. Phenomenal.
But -- with no real need or reason to continue, what would possess one to start from the beginning?

where do you use the tokens? i found all 5 and used the lightbulb on that bottom area at the end, but idk what to do with the tokens.

To Mateusz's reply to: >>Nice if the pointer would change to a arrow when clicking the area changes the screen. . .
I agree that the arrow doesn't work, but perhaps a little icon in the top corner to indicate that the action to be performed is moving? Like little legs maybe? I did find I was quite often 'accidentally' moving scenes while searching for secret items. Just a thought. Aside from that, this is definately the most beautiful game on the internet.

So, was/is this Murtaugh a bad guy afterall? This is getting very interesting... I hope we get even some answers in part 8.

It is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes! another puzzler from the number1 online point and click series! Instant 5/5 even though I haven't played it because all submachine games are 5 stars!

Personally if there was a walkthrough for it, i'd prefer a written one with hints instead of a direct run through everything.

I just woke up this morning...
I open kongregate and a unexpected surprise hit me like a heart attack.
It is submachine 7!

This game is amazing just like all of the other Submachines, and, for that matter, Daymare Town and Covert Front. The only thing that I didn't like was the length. It could be a bit longer (it seemed to end pretty abruptly). Other than that, 5/5 great game.

I have waited and waited, and now it is here Submachine 7. I didn't realize it was out until I looked on the home page. :P
