Wow. I love point and click games, but this goes above and beyond most. This is probably tied with Morningstar for my favorite Point and Click.
I'll be honest, I had to use a LOT of walkthrough help to complete this.

For anybody who's interested, the small writing to the right of the sphere diagrams in the first two pictures in-game is hebrew. It's difficult to decipher with such a small screen, but the script to the right of the sphere with a horizontal stripe seems to say something about subsidization and government.

Not being able to put down the valve, is a game breaking bug, and quite annoying this late in the game.
1/5 until fixed, 5/5 otherwise.

I thought I'd played all the games in the series, but when going through them all again I realized I hadn't played this one yet.
I have to say that this game is your best and takes the point-and-click genre to a whole new level. Brilliantly constructed. I don't thoroughly enjoy games like this very often. It was a challenge and a pleasure to play. Thank you.

I liked it.. up until near the end. what you have to do to get the door open is just a bit too weird. at the very least, the code paper you find last should be titled "pyramid code" or something.

Millitiaman, the storyline has not gotten complex. It has always been this complex. It is only now that we can see that.

dammit.. I was almost finishing the game, was using the blue circle energy thing and it got stuck in my hand, couldn't release it. tried everything i could, then the whole game froze! infinite sadness ;_;

@MarsVoltaic: You know there are seven answers to that question
Also, the submachine games have there own TAG! You can't get better than that!

Why is that none (as far as I know) of Mateusz's games have any badges? They're fantastic and beautifully done, not mention complicated and worth a hard badge apiece. His are some of the few games here on Kong that I willingly complete despite no badges to earn. He deserves to get some friggin' badges after all these years!!!

@ mrios: 32 chambers was a spin off, it emerged from a note in Sub4, and it read "Need water. Must find water. Not much, one drop would be enough. Just one drop of water. All I see is sand, 32 chambers filled with sand as I remember.
Write down the coordinates, he said.
Wish I have done that. I need water.
Just a drop..."
it helped explain some of the story of the tomb exploration team, and what went on.
hope this helps!

Like the previous seven installments (plus the various explore/zero/Future Loop Foundation) another brilliant trip into the mystery that is The Submachine.
Filled with ambiance and puzzles that support the growing story of Murtaugh, Liz and all the lost explores. Hard, but not so hard as to discourage you from playing. Perfect balance.
Full marks as per usual.
