I started the series with this one, number 8, and had to go straight back to the start. I have played them all over the past 2 days and I have to say that its this world you've created that makes the game. It's so intriguing, I just can't tear myself away! The layers... the depth... the mystery! And all those tantalizing notes!

I love these games; unlike other point-and-click games, you really need to use your head and look for some unconventional solutions to seemingly-ordinary problems. The level design for this entry in the Submachine series is absolute genius; it really makes me wonder what exactly the Submachine is (or isn't...heh). Seriously looking forward to the next part.

New Submachine. New Mateusz's masterpiece. The highest standard for the most challenging and fun point-and-click games, with the genuine atmosphere of the Submachine Multiverse and new interesting twists in the gameplay. Just perfect. I really waited for it since SM7.

I got to a point where I couldn't release the object I was "holding," and I couldn't click on anything in the game. I had to refresh the page and, much to my chagrin, start from scratch. I'm going to ragequit for a while now, but other than that, great game.

In previous games, we were able to load the last save and go back to continue searching for secrets. Why not this one?

Yup, can't put down the beam arm. I'm 6 layers in and now I can't move. This is an excellent game... fix this bug and I'll love you forever.

For anybody who's interested, the small writing to the right of the sphere diagrams in the first two pictures in-game is hebrew. It's difficult to decipher with such a small screen, but the script to the right of the sphere with a horizontal stripe seems to say something about subsidization and government.

I happened to see that this was a featured game and that it was the 8th one in the series, so I decided to check it out and play through all the whole series from the begginning. That was the best decision I've ever made. These games are simply brilliant. I love how the depth and complexity increases with each new game, creating an elaborate world full of mystery and intrigue. Combined with clever, sometimes difficult (but not too difficult) puzzles, I think that this is the best point and click series I've ever played. I don't know if I can wait for the next installment ^_^ . Bravo!!!

I love the series and this game was awesomely designed, but I can't help feeling that we're going to be left without any explanations story-wise at the end of Sub10. You just can't cram all the answers into two or even three games after giving so many leads over the course of so many years. I loved this game but I really hope such a promising series doesn't end up like Lost. :(

This is one of my all time favorite games, even though it's different from most of the other Submachines. Trying to find the secrets on your own is so challenging. I've played through this game several times and it hasn't gotten old yet.

I thought I'd played all the games in the series, but when going through them all again I realized I hadn't played this one yet.
I have to say that this game is your best and takes the point-and-click genre to a whole new level. Brilliantly constructed. I don't thoroughly enjoy games like this very often. It was a challenge and a pleasure to play. Thank you.

I heard you like dimensional portals, so we put dimensional portals in your dimensional portals, so you can use dimensional portals while in dimensional portals and CHANGE DIRECTION!!!

Excellent game. The Submachine series is a masterpiece. I give 4/5 until they solve the bug, it seriously deseperating when you are almost ending the game and need to start from scratch because of it.

In the same way that a human can look left and right, and see two different directions, the submachine can look left and right through time. But it can also look up, and down, seeing into different universes. It can look both left and right, up and down, all at the same time! And when you jump in...That is when the madness begins...

I FINALLY think I understand...**SPOILER ALERT (possibly)**...not only are there different 'levels' of the Submachine, there are different "Submachines' or dimensions. I think that Murtauge and his crew, plus any other people trapped in the submachine are in a different dimension now, and that is why we never see any signs of human life other then the notes. But that poses the questions, will we ever meet Murtaugh? What exactly is the submachine? and...who the hell is Liz?!? Love these games and can't wait for more!

Ok, I´m bored of facebook, and then came here to play some game, then...it wat there "Submachine 8", I blinked many times thinking that it must be an illusion, but not...I think i´m gonna loose some time playing this marvellous adventure...thanks Mateusz, you are my hero!

Love the Submachine Series. If you want to really experience them, play them all in a row at night with no lights or anything else on.

ever game i understand the submachine less and less is it a dimension a fragments of time or is it the void between dimesions where everything exists on multiple planes

Why is that none (as far as I know) of Mateusz's games have any badges? They're fantastic and beautifully done, not mention complicated and worth a hard badge apiece. His are some of the few games here on Kong that I willingly complete despite no badges to earn. He deserves to get some friggin' badges after all these years!!!
