Looking forward to the new campaign. Really like the game. Just wish there was more players on and willing to duel/ do multiplayer

New card/ability ideas: (1) Creature is able to attack a second time. (2) Creature cannot be blocked by a creature that would kill it. (3) You get to pick which of the opponents' creatures blocks your creature. (4) Switch attack and armor stats on a creature for x turns.

I love this game but I think there are a couple of broken cards that need fixing.
1. Smolders - Damage should last 1,3,5 rounds respectively.
2. Magic Muffin - Lose the chain effect.
3. Entangling Roots - +1 damage so it's same as Glacial Spike.
4. Earth Spike - some extra ability so Glacial Spike is no longer inherently better.
5. Paralyze - make it same as Blind.
Thanks for the feedback! We're always making balance changes. We'll take your suggestions into account for tomorrow night's patch. We have not yet changed Smolders' ability, but nerfed his attack power so that he is mostly useful only for casting, not attacking. Please let me know how this plays out in PvP.

I LOVE the music! I just started to try the game out today, and I got distracted and walked away in the middle of the game completely forgetting about it. I have been in the tutorial battle for the last 4 hours listening to the music. It doesn't annoy me I feel like I am in a Final Fantasy game as I go about my day. Barely even playing just listening to epic music! :)

a little bug in the monk fight (zone 3) : the card shows that his effect deals +1 dmg for every 20 percent hp missing, this bonus is shown every time i hurt him but in reality this bonus doesn't apply

Oh and a tip to get more players? get your own section in Kongregates forum. Any game that does will always get an increase in players. Despite any and all other factors this has NEVER failed. Though you most likely have to attain a certain amount of plays on your game to get this feature. You could also ask for a promotional tie in for new players. Both of these will increase the amount of players exponentially. Basically ask them to incorporate a weekly challenge badge to earn ina different game with a reward for your game. Could be a specific card or an extra deck or some sudo cash or a booster pack. Something big enough to entice them to check it out even though they are playing something entirely different.

I like the game overall, but I wish you would relax some of the deck constraints. Right now, the deck MUST be 30 cards, not 29 or 31, and MUST have 8 basic summons. That's a bit harsh. I can understand a lower and upper bound on deck size, but do they have to be the same? I don't think the game would become unbalanced if you allowed 40-card decks. Also, gems come so slowly (one per turn) and are used for so many things that I rarely have more than two critters on the field. I end up discarding most of the others. Also, the one action per turn limitation makes me hoard cards that bypass it, as they are inherently advantageous: If I have a summon with an ability I want to use every turn, only cards that bypass the one action per turn rule can be played. I would recommend allowing every summon to use one ability per turn and the player to cast one spell per turn, gems permitting. You might have to do a bit of rebalancing but it would make the game so much more interesting.
Thanks for the suggestions. You bring up some interesting points. The 8 summon requirement is a lower bound, so I think it's not too restricting. You may certainly be right about the deck size constraint - we'll consider making that more flexible as we increase the number of cards available in the game. We'll also think about the fundamental rule changes you suggested, although those kinds of changes would be difficult to implement - we'll collect more opinions from other players. i keep having problem where i will use a card that says creature cannot attack/cast next turn but the status will disapear at the end of my tur, even if it is supposed to last for multiple rounds. is this supposed to happen or if it is a bug please fix it

Great game, but please, for the love of all that's holy, make it possible to filter the cards in the shop! It drives me crazy having to sort through them to find the cards I want every time.

you should make it so I can activate more than one card per turn, maybe for an additional mana cost. I keep needing to do two cost zero things while I have three mana, and losing because I can't.

Maybe if you have 3/3 gems and play Meditation, PoI or Ritual you get 3/4 in-stead of nothing. That way when you end your turn you have 4/4. Right now 4 gem creatures don't seem worth saving up 2 turns to get that 4th gem.

Fun card game! But one suggestion - Instead of saying "Pass," could you change it so that it says something different every phase? Like "End Attack" or "Finish Discarding" or something like that?
I believe the data loss was due to a bug with the deck switching feature which came out with that patch. I've credited your account with funds that will allow you to repurchase your lost cards (and more). Apologies for the inconvenience, and thanks for playing!

Thanks for responding back so quickly....Ok there are a lot of them so I will just pm them you instead. I don't have anywhere close to 20% of the card collection so I can't possibly tell you all of them, but there are a few I see that just seem like an odd change and I can give my reasoning too individually. I will send you a handful of PM's in an hour or so.

make automatic actions (like no discard when you dont have full hand) automatic -- unless there is an unseen reason like cards that can make you take damage based on # of cards in hand.... More generally, highlight the button at end of turn or on "obvious" actions. This is my suggestion to make for improved playability as sometimes i sit there not realizing what to do (beginner)

New card/ability ideas: (1) an "ability card/spell" that copies a creature as-is [maybe only opponent's creatures?]. (2) a creature ability of draw another card. (3) an ability card that turns opponent's creature's damage into healing for x turns. (4) an ability card that gives creatures ability "You may immediately play another card" for x turns.

I'd love to see a straight up single player version of this game where you wouldn't have to connect to the servers. I just want to play out the story.
It would indeed be nice to have a single-player mode that doesn't need to connect to servers. This is not hard to do for downloaded desktop games, but for browser games like this one it's tricky because you need to save your progress somewhere, and browser games can't save to your computer (and must therefore save your account on the servers). We'll try our best to improve server stability to minimize downtime - the main reason for the problems this morning is likely last night's patch.
