Also, with regards to the worthless upgrades, it just seems odd that you can do the entire game only using damage upgrades, which defeats the point of having customisable upgrades. I agree that they Can be used, but it's just not at all needed

Why does the sound toggle only control the music/atmospheric sound and not also sound effects?
Definitely needs independent toggle or just one button is "all sound on/off".

try waiting to upgrade until you get all the defenders placed that you want. that way, the back defenders get the chance to upgrade so theyre not too weak against later level creeps.

to those of you complaining that the upgrades are worthless... i have beaten numerous maps with spamming billy the kids and upgrading the stun. my gear is based on radius. the enemies slow to a crawl with the stun and headshot... however, on the latter levels you need some heavy hitters for the blue creeps since they are immune to status altering effects.

the fact that all the skill require an upgrade in battle and are either either a chance upgrade or uselessly small upgrade makes skills pointless
the skills should be passive, or at least already be "usable" at the start of battle so as to make the use of the skill actually matter, since the only good upgrade is the damage one
...making all the skills essentially useless at any point in the game

Those stealthed units in TD-games - will they ever go away again? They suck!!! Same here, makes the last level a pain in the butt. All the other levels are at least somewhat original, althought there are definately too many blocked tiles, but the last one - meh, it's just stupid.
Good game though, had the potential to be one of the best TDs ever, but sadly there are too many little things that prevent it from being great.

I think my barn is a one way teleport beacon, since the thieves simply disappear when they enter it after stealing my bulls. I wonder where they go though...

Grammar aside, the fact that the only thing pause does is stop the timer means you can pause after each wave and take as much time as you need to build/upgrade for the next wave. Still, 4/5

forget about everything and use a Tecumesh in buff speed mode surrounded by davids... that kills almost everything.. 3 goldstars ensured in almost every early map.

New TD concept and decent enough graphics, but the game's title should be changed to "Spamming Johnny" because thats all you have to do. Don't bother with upgrading, don't bother placing other units, don't really bother buying equipment or bulls, just spam johnny and you will begin to yawn and look for something that requires more than just the basic tower to win. 2/5

Well I just finished the game after playing for a while. The different towers that are available are amazing and I can't wait to see what the next Long Way brings us.

I am addicted to TD games, but I just don't like ones where you have to earn xp for each tower to upgrade it. Is there some way to make it a toggle?

I clicked on the "Bluewolfgames" logo accidentally too many times, and I'm done with this game now.
It's reached the point where it's too irritating to be worth the fun.

i think it's worth mentioning that the blue enemies, "kaprals", are immune to all status effects; they can't be slowed, poisoned, scared, stunned, or even burned! i'm not sure about "headshots", that is, Billy's 2nd skill...

I don't like how Chuck's fire rate drops randomly with the skill. Even if he hits a bunch in a row. Decent game otherwise, sequel maybe? 4/5

Well I finally did it and it took a *LOT* of tries and luck but I got 3 gold stars on the last level and managed to get the 15 gold stars achievement. :)
Great game, nice music and a decent difficulty curve. Just one minor gripe, once you've sold an item it's gone for good. It might be worth putting 'em back into the shop just in-case you sell the wrong one. :)

there is a bug where if you position your cowboy near the edge of the screen, the cowboy shoots and hits the enemy as it is coming in, but does not do any damage.
The enemies can only be damaged when they get much further in.
