The skill points should add affects to the upgrade in damage, not make the player choose between damage and the optional skill, because 1: you can't do much damage for the skill to help (for example johny's skills stink with low damage, no damage = low crits and not kill anything to utilize the splash) and 2: besides tecumpseh's (sp.) reveal skill, the other skills are not worth sacrificing damage for. still gave it a 5/5 for effort, however I would love to see these changes :)

Silverclad, heres an idea, stop losing cows? Find a good strategy. past level 5 I just started every round on hard and never lost one.

Ugh. Please, please, PLEASE take out the cow mechanic. It's annoying as crap that every time you lose a cow you have to buy it back. Makes sense, yes, but it's a pain in the ass... my OCD forces me to restart every time I lose more than 5 cows >:(

This is a great new spin on a classic style of game, artfully done with good music tied into a strong leveling system and worldwide improvement (the shops) well done. 5/5

@wolfey180 only in that the two are both tower defense games. I'd say CG is better but I'm not that far into Long Way yet.

I enjoyed the game except for the best positions being taken up by scenery with no way to get rid of it. It became less about strategic placement (the whole point) then setting up where ever was possible.

only complaint is that the damage increase percentage due to equipment should increase as you upgrade the "tower"s damage level, other than that sick game

Maybe throw in a dps stat? still awesome game either way, great job taking an idea weve seen a thousand times and making it feel originalish

Bug: When you reach a new level, the bar shows the max of the next level, not the current. It should switch while the xp is filling up. Also, im not sure the ff button is working properly. Either there's slowdown or the ff doesn't get it right if active when a new wave comes.
Nice game though. Very addictive. :)

great game, like papachun said everyone loves it when you combine a TD game with a shop to improve the towers permanently for later levels :) Only thing I have to say is that you need a mute SFX button to go with the mute FX button, other than that, I'd give it a 5/5 :) Maybe you could tweak the skills a little bit, as a chance to go through enemies is low, and it doesn't help that he chases people making that skill kind of useless, maybe you could make it so we can pick our priority like first, last, weakest, strongest? :)

I am not sure if it is a bug or not... but on level 15, I am only getting 2 waves. The first wave is a single guy, the second are 2 bosses. I have tried every kind of configuration that I can think of to kill them, but I cant. If this is intentional, it makes it impossible to beat that wave without cheating....

great concept, great interface(more important than you think). Things to improve would be for say a wider upgrade range and a better economy, i found myself only buying one or two more Cowboys per level. But at the end of the it is a great game well done.

If you put a guy right on the edge of the map where the baddies come from, the "sentry's" first shot doesn't register. Slightly annoying. Great game though :)
