I love the modular spaceship concept, but I would enjoy this game so much more if I didn't have to rely on random availability of components. Being given the option of adding more fuel tanks when I really need more weapons doesn't do much good. Why not just have a price list for all of the components? If someone has the resources, they should be able to build anything they like.

If you cant get to last boss, put all guns covering one side of ship only and steer ship all the way over to the side so the side without guns off the screen

I wish the ship was more manuverable so in the boss fight you could use fuel to dodge and it could count because even if your still you use up fuel like sirspikey said

Energy and fuel take up zero storage - why can't I collect them when storage is fuel?
I actually want a way to disable ore collection.

In the last level I do much better with a very small fuel tank. It's a little luck-dependent, but it also interrupts new mobs from arriving when you run out. Once the new mobs stop, you can destroy what's on the screen, before the next fuel tank is collected. The caveat - you need lots of collectors, so your capacity doesn't run out on those silly gears before the level's up.

I'm giving this a 3/5 for a few reasons. 1) Great concept, poor execution. Why do the ships not just fly on past you? If you can't destroy then as they pass by, you don't get their gifts, simple as that, but instead, I get an accumulation of ships shooting at me just out of range of some of my guns. 2) The pricing system is poor. Some one already made a reference to this but it bears repeating. There are too many stars and not enough to use. There are almost as much stars as there are iron ore pieces. Maybe have some items you can buy with only stars and others with only ore? Just a thought. 3) Accumulation of items in the shop. The items you get seem to be by chance. There should be a set amount of items and types, at least in my opinion. Again, the idea is there, but it was just put together poorly. If you make a sequel and fix all those problems, then you've got yourself a game.

Finding last level hard? You might have to play game again. I did. Getting more useful stuff, like lots of triple missles, energy replenishing stuff and shields,
Also, placement of guns is important to get those ships that sit behind your ship. Also, don't spend too much on rockets (I only needed one triple rocket - once you can get one - two at most) . 4 double gatherers more than enough (on last third of stage) - You'll need more earlier on to gather all the money you'll need.

i already got everything max upgraded that you can buy on the shop, i already tried plenty different combinations but i always lose within 15sec on that last stage <

If you're getting stuck on a zone: Don't put all your weapons at the front - the ships that get behind you will gradually wear you down. Put a few in the middle row on either side. Do a couple of run throughs with lots of collectors to build up ore, then swap most of them out for extra shields, or damage multipliers. But leave some high capacity ones in to pick up repairs.

you should be given some sort of super tech if you beat the game and start a new one.
Ive beeten the game and was hoping to get something like mabye a maxout Drone or some sorta super sheld, or weapon, but no. total let down.

8 RegenMod, 9 Big PowerMod, 2 BigFuel Tank, 4 Radar, 9 Fastshot Weapon and 10 Triple Missiles. Still Dying in the Zone2 of Utosu.

Was going to give it a decent score, but it makes no sense that with all the ore in the galaxy I can't buy a weapon or ship config to beat the last zone of the last level.

There needs to be more ore drops because you dont get nearly enough, and the swarm levels are nearly impossible, youre dead before you get to the boss...

The single biggest flaw of this game is that shots disappear when their target dies. This is a huge issue... not only does it make no sense, but it also means that at least half the shots your guns and missile launchers fire are completely wasted as they'll vanish en route. The action is sluggish, the graphics are too crammed together and claustrophobic and, as seismica says, upgrades are predetermined... there's no winning if you don't gear up right. Zoom things out a bit to provide a sense of space, speed up the hero ship to actually allow some maneuverability, and if you'd just fix the shots vanishing when their target dies, then upgrading wouldn't be so demanding and restrictive and the game would be more flexible. 1/5, it's just that poorly planned.

the game doesn't use iron ore. gears are pointless. also, why the hell doesn't the shop give me any more regens at the final levels? and I'm sick of the enemy swarms piling up on the back of the ship.
