I feel like the ore > star ratio is crappy. You need ores way more, but there is an equal amount of each. Now I have 400 stars, and no ore.

Great game 4.5/5 if I could. Only 3 issues for me.
1. Missiles need to lock onto new targets if the original is destroyed, this is because when an enemy is sighted every single missile launcher shoots at it, then the enemy dies from 1-2 missiles and the rest just disappear, then you have to wait for reload.
2. I had to restart the game because I got to the last level with not enough regen modules and the shop decided not to stock them. Having set items spawning in shops instead of random would fix this, or let me visit completed planets to grind for items I cannot buy in other shops
3. There should be a re-stock option in the shop instead of having to die 3 times in order to force it to refresh.
Really minor problems, the game was fantastic and I "want" to give you 5/5 for it :P but I'll settle for 4/5 give you something to aim for in a sequel, there IS going to be a sequel right? *Shakes Fist* There better!

Last map 3rd stage just go 8 damage amps for +200%dmg, 4-6 shield capacity tier III, 2 tier III fuel tanks (just enough to reach the boss), 4 regens and the rest just tier III laser turret thingies...
Stack ALL of the turrets on a single side and everything else on the other side then just move the "utility" side off-screen...
I know it's just exploiting but eff the last level!

Hey, for all those other curious people out there, unfortunately the purple light at the end of levels is nothing. At one point I tried flying all the way out and just before I transported back I saw a boss health bar flash up, which made me think there must've been a secret boss. I made it my mission to find it. Well, after eventually restarting the game just to figure out what that was, I loaded up on fuel and flew all the way out. About another 2/3 of a progress bar above the actual bar your ship stops and a boss health bar appears...but it never fills up and nothing appears. You just sit there. I was pretty disappointed, needless to say. Why the heck not have us auto-transport back a little bit after beating the last boss rather than leaving us hanging like that? And most of all why the hell have that purple light if there's nothing there? Way to lead us on...

Decent start, but it needs work. If there is no reason to continue past the third checkpoint, the level should probably end. Why list "Speed" if there is no way to adjust it? What the hell are the blue gears for? Concept is interesting, needs polish.

no story line just a pure grinding game......2/5 sorry waste of time with all the bad things like not enough minerals.....upgrade just require you to basically pay each level again and again and getting fewer and fewer minerals for the shop to reset or to get enough minerals.....

I'm a sucker for anything tagged "Space" and "Upgrades" but this is too non-interactive to be much fun. Besides drifting a bit to the left and right, and arranging gathering modules, there aren't many interesting choices to make.

Have a problem with the swarm of enemies of the later levels? Nothing easier, if you can't beat them, avoid them! Just keep pressing right until half of your ship is outside of the screen and move all of your weapon on the left side (some regenerator help too).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The shop on the last level doesn't have any regens or harvesters to buy, so you could potentially screw yourself because you can't revisit shops from earlier levels (a silly limitation).

I really wish the missiles were smarter: instead of vanishing when their target is destroyed, they should move to another target. Aside from that there are a couple of other flaws throughout, but it's overall fun.

To beat the last level simply put all your weapons on one side of the ship then steer straight to the opposite side of the screen. Around 1/3 of the enemies will completely ignore you and decent regen and shields will keep you alive quite easily. The last boss is a two second battle as long as you have a couple of damage modifiers, getting there is the only real issue.

This game was fun to play, but near the end getting to the boss was harder than actually beating the boss. In the last galaxy I had to change my ship 5 times before I got through the third minion wave and when I got to the boss I beat it in 3 seconds.

It would be fantastic if the bullets and missiles didn't disappear if their target is destroyed before they get to it.

One major thing that annoyed me with this game is the fact that all projectiles disappear once something is killed. Now, for the sake of realism, what kind of a gun or missile fires, destroys something and all projectiles behind it just disappear? I think it's either lazy coding, or an artificial difficulty enhancer, which I hate, because it's then also lazy game design for an otherwise outstanding romp. 3 of 5.

Upgrades are fun, but the gameplay itself is pretty boring, I found myself just loading up my ship and switching to another tab.

Tha game prided itself on random levels to that the game is different every time, but the limited availability of shop items means that I can't outfit the ship how I want. The difficulty of the bosses means that you also need the best modules in the shop, meaning that the equipment I have on my ship is essentially pre-determined. For instance, I can't buy any more medium guns or missiles, and the small guns are a waste of space on the ship. So I have to buy more armour to beat the 6th boss, because that is what the game wants me to do. It eliminates the whole point of customising/upgrading your ship. 2/5

Formula for winning ship design: Stagger your weapons on different rows to avoid overkill/reloading problems as the excess shots just disappear when the target dies. Also, more weapons is not always best; you need to balance out shield with weapons. So if your not advancing and already armed to the teeth, you many need to remove a few weapons and add shields. At the end, remember that you can also remove a few modules that were previously necessary. I was only using 2 triple resource gathers and 2 triple tanks to beat the final boss.

The single biggest flaw of this game is that shots disappear when their target dies. This is a huge issue... not only does it make no sense, but it also means that at least half the shots your guns and missile launchers fire are completely wasted as they'll vanish en route. The action is sluggish, the graphics are too crammed together and claustrophobic and, as seismica says, upgrades are predetermined... there's no winning if you don't gear up right. Zoom things out a bit to provide a sense of space, speed up the hero ship to actually allow some maneuverability, and if you'd just fix the shots vanishing when their target dies, then upgrading wouldn't be so demanding and restrictive and the game would be more flexible. 1/5, it's just that poorly planned.

Is 1 your favourite number? max capacity:111 speed:1 and a whole bunch of the achievements have 1 in them. Max amount of healing modules: 11
It is a good game and definitely needs a sequel and more modules.
4/5!

This game has potential and is pretty decent, but it could use some improvement. The level progression feels really slow and repetitive, especially since other than pressing Start and watching, there isn't much to do. Maybe add a Speed button? I also found out that the blue gears were a substitute of iron after reading the comments, but I don't remember there being a place explaining this ingame or better yet, a tutorial explaining how to use the shop, what's a shield, tips and tricks, etc. Y'know, just so the game isn't all about trial and error.

When a bunch of my bullets and missiles are going toward a single enemy, I find that once that enemy is destroyed, the remaining bullets and missiles aimed at that enemy will disappear, instead of continuing on in that direction. You need to FIX that. The other problem I have is, that there are too many stars compared to blue ore, which you need more of on every purchase. So that needs to be FIXED too.

Okay, let's review: I invade multiple galaxies, slaughter legions of ships and space organisms, steal their resources and when I'm all done I head home, and I'm not proud because I protected my people from an evil invasion or found the technology I needed to cure some uber-plague...no, I'm proud of the fact that I built the biggest ship ever for bragging rights. Fun game, but wow do I feel like a dick now.

Ugh, I finally managed to beat it, last boss with 8 best shield, 2 harvest, 8 satellite things (+25% dmg), 5 regen modules, the rest weapons, mainly fast shooting guns, few rockets. Harvesters are for picking up fuel to make it to the boss with only 1 fuel module. Note that when you lose one level 3 times, you get more modules to buy available on particular level. It means if you want more regen modules, you need to lose a level where this module is available to buy. Sadly last lvl doesn't have regen to buy. Nice game, interesting concept, 5\5 and hoping for sequel :)

This game really had a lot of potential. However, several botched concepts made it dull after a short time. The beginning is fine--I really did enjoy building my ship up, expanding it, and destroying enemies and it was fun! After a short time though, I realized that the levels are all the same, no matter what size galaxy it was, the components didn't vary much, and it became a grindquest instead of a fun space shooter. You see, you can't do anything except turn your ship about 15-20 degrees, and that doesn't help anything except resource gather, which is boring. Enemies always hit you, turrets that have guns don't rotate, and it just ends up being really dull after a short period of time. If you had made it so we could control our ship, or aim, or use abilities or something else, then it would earn a better rating, but for failed concepts and grindquest mechanics, 2/5 stars.

Would be pretty useful if you could set the harvesters targeting priorities so that i can focus on fuel and repairs or on ores and stars
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's no game play. There's barely any strategy needed. 90% of the game is simply buying the best gear you can and hitting play, and then waiting. Not fun at all.

"Sir! We are outa fuel! We need to leave immediately!" "NO lieutenant!. WE NEED THAT ORE..." "But sir! We're gonna get blown up by whatever the heck that green thing is!" "I DON'T CARE! WE ARE GONNA SIT HERE AND WAIT FOR THE SHIP TO FLOAT TO THAT ORE."
