should automatically add the stats when buying the crystals, so that we dont forget and they get stolen. Also, would be nice to show hp and gold on the map instead of going to a shop/inn/dung to view them.

After days and days of sweating fingers, tense eyes, and toiling brain, I finally win... to see this message pop up in the highscore board: "You did pretty good! Bronze Score!"

You should be able to travel farther than one square at a time, annoying to click every town between you and the inn, but otherwise so far a Very fun Game GJ =)

For the Endless Tower... I suggest using your leftover AP at the end of each battle for extra exp. Just stay right by the exit, and try and make the biggest buildup you can, then drill it with 1 AP left and exit the stage.

Exceptional game, well crafted, challenging yet enjoyable. Enough to enjoy for weeks, lots of added twists and great storyline. 5/5!

...Is it cheating to turn the boss's guards into chickens and then just kill him? Or is it just very, very satisfying?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To get the achievements for not taking any damage, you have to use a ton of items. It's very easy to never have a mishap with a mandrake or cthulu if the first thing you do on every level is turn them all into chickens.

I just figured out DRILLING SINGLE BLOCKS MAKES SKULL BLOCKS APPEAR. Thought they just start appearing after so long, had many of those dam things on the screen when fighting the final boss n_n

This is an obvious tip, but one that maybe some people might not readily think of. When you are just 1 square away from the door, and have excess AP; more than what you need to safely get to the door. Instead of going right for the door, use the excess AP to destroy as many large groups of blocks as possible to get extra EXP. It might only be several hundred to a couple thousand per a stage, but it all adds up. Especially with the bonus EXP rings. :)

The instant I saw the shiny thing explaining to me about the game, my Ocarina of Time instincts burried deep in my head said, somewhere... "Hey! Listen!"

You can't beat the final boss ? ( forgot its name ). Well this is a small tutorial. (1) fill your inventory with potions ( I recommend blue ones ). (2) Now try to take as few as possible damage. (3) Get to the dragon and now follow these rules - 1. Watch its attack range. 2. never get in his bottom range. 3. don't be afraid of his side attacks it only deals some damage. 4. If you will get in his bottom range you will be poisoned with his dark magic, in some turns you will become a dark knight and you failed. So if you will get poisoned, look for blue feathers on the map, they will cure you. 5. Your poisoned and no more feathers left ? try to attack with spells maybe it will save you. 6. To attack him, get next to him and then rotate and drill him. Its the easiest way! Rate this comment up so anyone can see.

So... what's my incentive to get the achievements? Having a spinning shield doesn't seem worth the effort of some of these.

I do think this game could use a bit of... polishing. Theifs shouldnt be able to steal un-buyable items and there should be a larger inventory i think.

I like the mutability but when you have to cross the rainbow bridge things, the noise is annoying. Why don't games just have simple mute buttons that stop all noise are are available when you start the game?

I don't know why I didn't like the first game so much, because this one is GREAT.
RPG elements fitted into a puzzle game like this, along with nice looking graphics. 5/5 for sure.

If you feel that the game is too hard heres a tip: Instead of going to the object you need to go [say the key/door], why not bring the object to you :)

For all those who want to get the Endless-Tower badge: Just take as much Mysterious Elixirs as possible with you. Key to success is to go as far on the first try as possible. At some point you will be able to line up entire lines of creatures. Killing those gives massive EXP and enough money to get back into the tower if you need to take a break. If you restart the tower, you won't have enough monster to line up anymore. I finished in two runs and had in the end lvl 37 with about 1400 HP and 66 AP.

A good way to prepare for the endless tower and your Hard Badge. Do the mech whale level, save your spells tell the end then let lose your annihlate spell, quickly kill the heart, go to inn, drink ales, rinse and repeat. This is a really easy way of getting quick experience.

at just over level 150, your max health becomes negative! this is a slight problem for anyone who would like to play the game. (This happened to me on the 49th level of the endless dungeon -_-*)

a little hint for people: almost everything on the board can move, not just yourself. don't always send your guy off to collect the key then head to the door, bring the key and door to you if you can.

@Unknownlurker, it does have a save function, and it works just fine for me. Are you sure your computer is saving correctly? This game is pretty good, but it does get a little repetitive with little extra added to the game. However, I am having a lot of fun playing it into the... Knight. ;)

This game has taught me a valuable life lesson. If, for some reason, monsters start destroying towns and cities, I simply need to don some armor, with this pointy-tipped helmet, and grab a drill. Then, I can maul the living crap out of anything in my way, as long as I'm on top of their heads. Death can't even stop me.
