Good concept and good difficulty but it's irritating how the patrol animation of the soldiers actually influences the game. I've noticed quite often that on the first wave, having the exact same setup can lead to different results because sometimes the soldiers patrol further from the path and can't catch an enemy as a result.

4x speed seems to just send waves faster, and not speed up movement to those rates. i almost lost the first level because i got like 3 waves at once

question: build a mine increase in 2 the resource production but the production of all the cities? or only the city that own the mine?

If you do have problems with the badge awarding, remember to submit your badge request when it's the badge of the day. Then you'll get the BotD things automatically when I process your request even if I don't get to it until Monday...which is likely since I'm in an airport right now :)

Well, so far on level 1, tutorial, it looks great and very strategic, but even with max quality, I'm having trouble seeing the clear hexagonal ring placements for the towers. On 2x and 4x speed, this even more difficult for me to see. I'd prefer it to be a slightly bolder color to compensate for my lack of vision.

It's great how some enemies just run past your melee units. No, Im not talking about being swarmed. I am talking about just a single unit running through, with none of the melees caring.

to actually answer people's concerns- Badge Of The Day seems to be working fine to me. Keep in mind the "buildings" its talking about isnt your attack units, but buildings you can place after you beat a level. So your going to have to beat 2 levels and then build on those spots.

I love the tools who always bump down "badge isnt working" posts and bump up the same stupid "dis game is good" posts. heaven forbid people see that somethings not working so they can fix it.

wise words for an kind of game: don't make targeting ai based if your ai is crap. make it at least possible to choose prefered targets. could be a great game but the crappy ai ruins it completely.

playing a lots of games but this game freezes constanstanly within the moves...upgrading costs very often 2-3 sec untill you see the enemies movin again. didnt know my mac air is such a "crap" that it cant display the game appropriate... no chance of setting the graphics down of course as well... so somehow funny but crap !

I see several problem with this game. Starting with lags (at some poin *4 speed seems like *1,5 speed); we can't send waves when we want to (waiting is boring); AI is really stupid : you can have 3 horses, thinking it will stop 3 runners with ease, but, no, they only stop one and all 3 of them will try to kill it; the turn system is flawed : we produce too few ressources (and mines aren't worth spending on), so we gotta farm, but we get attacked almost every turn, and if we don't pay ressources, we loose a lot (towers aren't worth buying either); units are unbalanced : the soldier with his 4 upgrades is more usefull than the knight with all 6 upgrades (and even 2 stables). Sure, horses can stop fast creeps easily and have better range, but, used wisely, soldiers ust fit for the job and don't cost as much to produce / upgrade.

This game is nice - it's fast-paced and I always feel like I'm on the verge of imminent death... I wish the resources would be more abundant (mostly because of the first badge lol), but other than that, this is a VERY nice game.

This game is such a boring slog.
Different map, same exact thing.
Slam archers, 1-2-3 LV 3 golems. Put speed to 4X, wait forever for map to auto-finish.
Everything else is rigid as hell. You get this many resources, you need that many. There are no events, problems, occurrences, just the pointless attacking of your towns so you can lose resources and make the game take even longer.
Why....is there an AP gauge? Why are there Action Points to begin with?
What does this mechanic add other than, you know...nothing?
Its sole purpose is to make enemies be able to attack you and make the game take longer . Baffling and annoying...

More frustration: soldier tower below a path: the soldier will not reach fast enemies, soldier tower above the path: soldier will reach them; this is rather bad design

I really like the idea and concept behind this game, also progression feels good. The only thing bothering me though is the awful targeting AI. If two big monsters hit two of my soldier towers, I can only hope that each tower targets a different monster. If not, one will simply walk by. Also, I wish archers would not waste their arrows on high-armored targets, if they can hit the less-armored ones.

Tip for people who aren't really good at these types of games, like me: it's generally easier to spam cheap buildings in this game then it is to actually bother to upgrade them, until you hit a certain saturation point.

Very cool! I thoroughly enjoyed this TD game. it has a nice balance between economy building and strategy. Hope to see another one in the near future!

"Towers help protect your cities..." From what, exactly? Does this protection actually come up in the game, somehow, or is it just implied that towers do that because that's just what towers (and in fact all buildings with battlements, so the stronghold should as well...) do?

50% of the comments are praising the game or telling the dev to improve of some aspects...the other 50%? "Imput wave button please!" Anyways 4/5, nice game. :)

A possible idea for a sequel is to use a similar system as now but also have a demon army (or any other generic evil) try to take over towns and build they're buildings from the end of map, so as you move forward so does the enemy till you meet up,and when you do add an invasion mode, since it will be approximately mid-game when the armies meet it will add some more fun. Great Game! work on the AI and you'll have a real winner here!

I'm torn when it comes to this game. On the one hand, it's quite interesting, but on the other, bad AI makes it frustrating. As others have mentioned, the melee units, who are meant to block the progress of invaders, will all attack one enemy within their range rather than split up and so block more enemies. The archers all pick on the heavily armoured enemy, rather than the ones they can hit thus allowing far more enemies to escape. I enjoy the system of guard houses and the range of the archers allows for clever support of archers and melee infantry, but the bad AI make it almost too frustrating to play at times. 3/5

My soldiers are not doing what i want. For example, I have 4 posts around one point. 2 strong deamons atack. I want my men to atack 2:1 - 2:1. Instead, all 4 of mine bash 1 monster, while other runs past them. Arrghh!
