If you want the easy badge so you can QUICKLY shut this down and never have to look back, don't buy anything between rounds 1 and 2. Spend it all (wow, a whole SECOND item) between 2 and 3. I did thrust and freaky. 1/5

Holy shit this game is bad. The gap between levels are way to steep, and the hard badge is purely luck-based as the thing that swings for speed is way to fast. Also you'll spend hours on end because the game fully resets when you lose.
Would never recommend this game, not even if the hard bagde is the only badge on the website you haven't unlocked.

To win the hard badge, aim as low and as you can. Use one of the rockets right after you launch, then use the other two rockets as your ascent slows down. Staying withing the first few opponents help you get the launch timing right.

I agree with others again its an older game but really is a pain to play. I love launcher games but the resets on upgrades every round are just a pain.

Honestly the game is pretty sh*t, but it is from 2007. If you play more modern launch games(like burrito bison and whatnot) you can see just how much the genre has evolved. This game has the added bonus of making you endure game features that are legitimately bad(you don't keep your upgrades lol). Whether you make these games or simply want to recommend an improvement to a new launch game, this particular game will give you better insight into that. Aside from viewing this game like a fossil, it has no value.

This isn't a hard game just badly made. Dedrood's strategy of spamming the thrusters on launch makes it a piece of cakes as long as you don't somehow screw up ski's and freaky (both basically the same thing). Why anyone thought it'd be good to have smallish on screen buttons to use powerups instead of keyboard keys is a mystery.

Stupid amount of lag makes it pretty much impossible to get a predictable launch. This is coming with someone with a 3.3GHz EIGHT core system and 12 GIGS of RAM!

I love how there's absolutely no correlation between when I click the mouse and when the game decides I clicked. Horribly made, horribly boring, and just horrible.

Reposting if anyone missed it, very easy way to get through this awful game quickly: "#1 All you have to do is Fly three times then Right-click when the stats come up and press "Play", Buy creativity bonus, Repeat step #1, Repeat that until you have a $1000 then buy all 3 blasting powders ($115 x 3), All 3 Cans ($45 x 3), All 3 Skis ($55 x 3), All 3 Freaky's ($65 x 3). Then aim at about 30 degrees and use all 3 cans right away, then the 3 skis, then the freaky's and you get the hard badge"

The hard badge is relatively easy if you follow Dedrood's advice... Each round, buy Thrust, Skis, Freaky, Powder, Creativity, and repeat in that order. I had to replay a few times but that does it.

Let me explain: I thought to beat opponent with longest total distance was what you had to do... but no... after enemy getting 2200 2500 2400 ish and I got 3000 1800 1700 I am starting to think only the longest jump counts...

wow.... the how to play section is so dumb. what= means goal... who =means beat opponents with 3 launches... when= means now... like I am super excited to play this...

Great premise, poor execution. I want to love this game; I really do. I love the idea behind it. But, it is spoiled by what many have said: no way to continue on with your saved items, no way to really beat a 600 meter or so player as the third player (while you have pretty much nothing to extend your flight) and a developer that doesn't seem to care judging from the comments from 2010 reflecting the same thing.

Wow, even with ALL upgrades and almost 100% cannon power I barely managed to get the hard badge. Thanks, righclick-play-cheat.

this game is rather interesting because its not hard at all its mostly based on good timing and whether your smart enough to buy the upgrades
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, yes. By the way, you CAN "win". Just realized it may not be obvious. Yeah, if you for some far-out reason decide to figure out the game well enough, you can progress through the levels until you get a little congratulations screen. It's after "Sky Devil". Fair warning to those masochistic badge hounds that go after this one; that is your last chance to try for 7000 meters! Whether you beat the average distance or not, you will be sent back to the start afterwards. Player beware. I'm certainly not going to slog through that again after learning this the hard way.

Well...I actually came back years later and beat this piece of crap, but still no hard badge. Better hope your launches are perfect on the last level, folks, because 7000 is actually much more than you need and you don't keep the money you get from "winning"; nope, you get sent straight back to the start with 0 bucks. It feels just like losing, except you get a different game over screen. Have fun!
In case it's not obvious, I loathe this game, and have ever since I got kicked out of the hard badge the first time by daring to stop for a few seconds to eat a sandwich between launches. This has not changed. 0.01/10; don't waste ten or twenty minutes of your life on this one, people. It'll rob you of them just like it will rob you of the badge and any satisfaction you may have in victory.

I'm kind of curious how many times the hard badge has been awarded. I can get to 3829 with all the upgrades. Way short.

Rewards are too low. Distances are too far apart from L2-L3. Can't invest in a superior aviation company like ACME. You lose your upgades and failure is forced like hitting a brick wall.
