well to clariy, wolfinstein 3D was the first real FPS although there had been first person games and even a game called maze war that was a FPS, wolfinstein is where the modern FPS began, doom was the next game and both forwarded and even pretty much created the modern FPS genre + so others can see

This game is absolutely amazing. I've heard about this game, and I thought it was going to be some crappy game with crappy graphics and a crappy experience overall. Now it's probably my favorite thing in the whole entire world! XD

Love doom. The father of all fps games. yes. even C.O.D. Really cool. If u love doom, I recommend u check out BigMacDavis' channel on youtube.

This "Mouse sensivity" is not good :( Please in later update, try to do better sensivity. I don't like this, so slow. :(

For those who are not used to the flash version of this (because all the controls are different) Shift is run Ctrl is open doors Space is shoot and the number keys change your gun... and obviously arrow keys to move

i see people are forgeting a cheat code
IDBEHOLD this will allow you to pick a power up depending on what key you hit next
I = partial invisibility
S = berserk pack
R = Radiation suit
A = Computer map (not recommended for 100% items in some areas)
L = Light amplification goggles
V = Invunerability
