Don't know if the lack of music was intentionally taken out of the shareware version or if it couldn't be put on here for any possible legal terms (I don't know), but still this game held up pretty sodding well against time

This game is unforgiving. There is no easy mode. The easiest mode can still kill you pretty easily. Thats what makes this one of the best games still around.

I love Doom. But I have to call out the fact that this is a bad port of the classic. It needs to have the faster look controls like the original and the music but otherwise it's fine.

btw, you dont open a console to enter cheats, you just type them in, and i got to the last level and you cant beat it because you need a bfg

Hey, dwsnmicl, press esc when you start up the game to see the menu, then go to help and options to see the controls. Duh.

I guess I'm the only guy here that didn't play Doom when it came out... I still suck at the game but bless whoever put this for free on this website. God bless you!
