This game is absolutely amazing. I've heard about this game, and I thought it was going to be some crappy game with crappy graphics and a crappy experience overall. Now it's probably my favorite thing in the whole entire world! XD

I can't believe I'm saying this about such an old game, but so far, this is by far the best and most fun fps I've played, even more so than bf3, goldeneye, halo, etc... This really is one of the best games of all time.

All these kids keep putting up stuff like "i love this game" and "awesome." this was the game that started FPS...OF COURSE ITS FRICKEN AWESOME!

To those who say Doom is the GrandFather of All Fps... You are right, but, Wolfienstien 3D is the GREAT Grandfather of them all... So, No. Doom is no where it all started. But it is still a epic game.

You'd be far better served playing Doom properly on a modern source port like ZDoom or Chocolate Doom than playing this buggy flash port with no music created for the sole purpose of making money off of id's legacy.

Every time I see a door, I formulate a very intricate strategy, like "Strafe the inner chamber with my chaingun before swapping to my shotgun to kill any stragglers." Then I open the door, and instantly freak out, mash buttons, screaming "AH JESUS KILL IT KILL IT" Doom. Gotta love it :) 5/5

When I was a kid, this game scared the living shit out of me. Still does, now that I revisit it. Something about those pixelated brown things. The only thing missing is my SNES controller.

i remember playing this when i was about 6... man this was the best you could get back then... (only it was full version...) now adays you dont get that kind of feeling after beating the game
