moral of the story: friends are only good for getting you places, and otherwise just overcomplicate things, so you are better off on your own....at least thats the message i'm getting
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it needs a reset button or save because my fat one got stuck and my skinny one couldnt fit in to save him so i had to refresh and lost all my data

everybody knows that you need a fat orange friend, a giraffe like yellow friend and red dead platform like freind in order to be successful in getting over small ponds of water 4/5

Did anyone else use the flat red platform as a floor-bitch as opposed to an actual friend? After I got that guy, I never had to jump again.

At first, Thomas was alone. But as he met each new friend, everything just became more and more of a pain in the ass.

Am I the only one who felt like each shape had a personality? Like, the little fat block jump short because it was afraid, the tall block took things slower, the flat block was always helping everyone out at its own expense, and Thomas was the one cheering them all on?

A fantastic game(hence my 5/5 rating), but the levels where you get the other peices should have a little story and the others should be named as well. Still for a days work INCREADABLE

...By the way, people arguing over radar816, you can't remove games from Kong... The most you can do is upload an update which contains nothing, which he did..

I can see what some people are saying about the controls. It is really easy to move too far when you're trying to fine-tune your movements, because it's so fast. It didn't bother me that much, but I can see how it could bother others. This was a cute concept, but eventually I started saying "Ok, how many more levels, please. Am I near the end?" Some indication of progress would be nice. For that matter, a story would be nice. You have the beginnings of a potentially fun game here. Like most people, I can't believe you actually coded this in a day. I mean, wow. Hats off to you sir. Did you have time to eat? ("Mom! Hot pocket!") ^_^

haha this game is brilliant. it makes me feel all tense and "oh my god noooo i jumped all those holes and now im in the water noooooo" and i get all nervous before a big gap. and they havent even got faces!!!

To anyone who still wants to play the Flash version, I found it at gameshot.org/?id=5334 . You should still get the full game though. thomaswasalone.com

I doubt the lack of a reset button is intended. This isn't "You only live once". Getting stuck just because of a failure move and having to refresh isn't a good idea.

3/5. basic. nothing special at all, just a bit too much pixel hunting for me. But graphics are okay and physics arent messed up.

Love it, Everyone has a short fat friend they climb on, a smaller friend they walk all over, and a lanky dude they look up to

Why taking this down? I just wanna checkout what the game is about and if I like it I'll just go buy it. Now I think I just won't bother.

I just need a little help from my friends, oh, I get by with a little help from my friends, yeah, I get high with a little help from my friends

"A minimalist game about friendship and collaboration." Yeah, because friendship is the word that comes to mind when I'm using the wide red guy as a bridge.

The characters move a little jumpy, its hard to get those precise jumps, but otherwise it is a really great game. Good Job!

At first even tough i enjoyed the game myself i wondered why it dint even had music... they i saw it... 24 hours game.... impressive that you could make a gam, an a good game i might add in so little time.
The game itself is not hard, but its enjoyable, and i liked it very much. also i felt that it was a story with a moral ("Thomas was not alone"). Thumbs up mate :)

Agreed with a few of the other comments, some nice, calm music would be a nice touch. But other than that, I thought it was absolutely adorable.

Nice but way too simple. I loved its minimalism, could use a quiet ambient little tune though. Bit of an abstract piece of piano music? And the teamwork thingy was cute. Only thing I'd change was the controls, they aren't sensitive enough for some of the more precise levels.

Needs some ambient music to top of the entire experience, probably something really soft and quiet at the beginning, and louder as you progress through the game. Otherwise, very good. 4/5 from me.
