This game is amazing and brings back fond memories of Final Fight and Streets of Rage. More people need to play this game now (it even has Kong in the title!). Although, games like this always begs the questions: who the heck is brave enough to eat a turkey that is found in a tire?

great classic styled side scroller beat em up. Theres a problem with level 10, it gets stuck at the part where theres the big grey semi with the orange front. I cant go further even though it the GO arrow shows up. Always happens & cant go past this point on level 10.

Ok, well, unlike the rest of the guys here i have to say something bad about it. It's the same with those old games, without bringing anything (repeat: anything) new to the game world. My point is, it's cool to make something inspired by old games, but right now we have more ideas and are more technologically advanced to make something exactly as it used to be. You could make it more interesting by even adding an upgrade system (i mean, just that would make it tremendously better) although it would still remind of something old i've played.
If you have the talent to create such a game, why not make it into something new inspired by something old?
i know im gonna be downrated for this comment but i hope the devs see it.

*kills swordsman near start of level* *swordsman drops sword* *picks up sword* *kills enemy with it* "hey this sword is awesome! i'm gonna take it with me!" *continues along killing enemies with sword* "this sword is epic! i'm keeping it!" i picked it up when it was knocked out of my hand. i fought all the enemies bravely, with my friend the sword, and i got closer and closer to the end of the level. just then... *enemy knocks sword out of hand* "that axe is closer. i'll take it. it'll do for now." *kills enemy with axe* *axe does even more damage than sword* "hey this axe is awesome! i'm gonna take it with me!"

Quick bug find: I was forced to walk forward, but there were some breakable boxes in front of the character. Character got stuck on the boxes, and I could not continue with the game. Good old-school fun, otherwise.

i appreciate beating the snot out of people n all, but why am i running around the street killing everyone? =x there is no real story development in the game and i got bored pretty darn fast. difficulty could be higher, im onto stage 5 and havent died once.

*Bug* On the tenth level, at the end of the first act, you can't continue at the go. Tried with both the male and female character with the same result.

Love the sprites, love the fight, cool bosses, love the game.... but....
"your lack of ending disturbs me".... Play the levels again, but the bug in mission 10, prevent me to keep playing, and enjoying a possible cool ending...

so, what is the difference between this game and dino strike aside from the sprites and the music? oh, and the "story" of course

It's an okay game, but I'm basically just mashing buttons, Attack and Special, Attack and Special..and it took me awhile to figure out how to pick up the food and weapons (Attack) ..

Unlike a lot of people that will play this game, I was alive and quite aware of these kind of games, actually I was a big fan and did spent my time at the arcade playing stuff like "Aliens vs Predator" or "Cadilacs and Dinosaurs" among few, so just so you know I know what I am talking about. Usually these game were short, 7 levels at max and for a very good reason, they get repetitive very fast and when they do, they start to get boring. After you beat the guy on the roof that shoots lightning, that should be the end, not just a wrap around and start over, but slightly harder. If 5 is a perfect, 4 is very good, 3 is ok, 2 is playable though nothing special and 1 is just bad - I give this a 2/5, played it, beaten it, but will not be getting back to it.

Eight levels in now. Apparently I was incorrect about specials not draining life, it just does it inconsistently so sometimes you lose and sometimes you don't. The difficulty seems to be smoothly getting harder which is still good. However, levels and bosses are being recycled now, which while I know is not unheard of in beat-em-ups was a little disappointing. It just feels like artificially padding the games length. I am still having fun though.

kinda dumb that rocket launchers dont do a damn thing for damage compared to ur punches or kicks or "special" also kinda ridiculous to have mobs dual wield (but you cant) an they can vanish/have damage immunity (but you dont even using combos or skills) an lets say combo breaks happen to u alot to them not so much an why can i not hit different lanes but they can its not like they have more reach then me srly
