Tip to kill the dragon : you need to get the gold ticket, if you use it you get 1000% of gold in next monster, if you do this you get a lot of money and can upgrade the itens =)

The game is very good, but getting the hard badge is too random. Sometimes you kill instantly the monsters, other times killing them takes a lot of time. My advice for the hard badge is to use the upgrade of the armor as a way to restore your life, so you don't waste money in buying elixirs. The dragon usually appears after 10 days, around the 9 day buy a Divine Edge.

4 enemies including 2 dragon with no place to heal, damn.
Anyways great game, would be awesome if the character changes while it levels up, diffferent sword skins for example.

That moment when, you are so proud of yourself for having killed a dragon after so many attempts! To simply run into another one a few screens later who proceeds to murder you.

You can't kill the dragon with fully upgraded weapon + fully upgraded armor + live elexir! Only with divine edge?
What the hell were you thinking?

Anyone else feel sad by the fact that this cute, young adventurer is doomed to die roughly in less than a month of the start of her journey?

The first three runs the dragon came promptly at day 11. The fourth run I had my divine edge ready... and at day 13, he still hadn't come. I died from a rat because I had no healing.

If Dragons were marked differently in the encounter symbols, this game would win some additional tactical depth imo. Maybe a red head could mark a dragon while yellow heads make "regular" monsters.

Tips for Hard Badge: Save up 500 dollars right from the beginning for the cash ticket. Do this by only purchasing armor to refill your life at critical times. Use your elixir when necessary since the ticket uses your inventory slot anyway. Use the cash ticket on the very next battle and it will net you about 15X more for that battle. Always keep 500 in the bank just in case you see another one. Then upgrade to your hearts content while still only using armor ups to refill life since it doesn't negate any damage or anything else. When you fight the dragon (which I think is random) you can shoot for the divine edge but i managed it with an elixer and almost a full bar of health with all upgrades. I fought him around day 16 on like my 5th try. Good luck

If you are going to make us replay the game so many times, at least make it easier to get back to the beginning. Don't make us click to get to the score screen, please don't make us sit on the score screen while it tallies up, just let us go and do it again so that we can get this badge out of the way and never have to play this game again. (Really enjoyed my first two or three plays, then I realized that a large percent of the instances of the game are unwinnable)

*Successfully kills the monster with Gold Ticket* I am rich! Now I can buy all the ... *Encounters with Dragon* FUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Really liked the idea and presentation of the game ( LOVED the sprites!), though it needs a lot of polish to be great.
- Optimum Soulshrines usage: I find it clunky that to get the best... mileage out of a Soulshrine you have to wait till it's almost offscreen. Soulshrines should freeze the bar at 100% for the duration of them being on the screen so the time you click isn't a factor.
- The Dragon is just stupid. He comes out of nowhere and can ruin your perfectly decent run just like that.
- Would be nice to see how much money monsters will give below the icon.
- Visual character upgrades would be nice.
- Too much luck focused in general. It's not bad that the game requires some amounts of luck, but I think currently it relies on that too much. Things like the dragon or battle outcomes in general feel cheep and unfair. Battles should be more mathematical based, then luck based (trading blows, not random blows).

i managed to beat the dragon without a divine edge on day 8. just an elixir. Though i will not deny that the game is luck based, its still fun nonetheless

I like this game! :D
What I did to beat dragon: until around level 6, but swords and use elixirs to heal (and eventually an armour or two). After that, grab Divine Edge asap and heal only by buying armour. Save Divine Edge for dragon.

I wish levelling up did something. More starting gold or more chance of a soulburstthingie or days go quicker or something. It's frustrating that I can't get better at the game (if u know what I mean) But I adore the female character, she's super cute with her baggy trousers and massive sword

This game could use some significant speeding up. If there's no progression from one playthrough to the next and it's expected to need many playthroughs and they're all the same, they need to be much, much faster. Also, speed up or allow the skipping of the levelup/score screen please.

I think i know what most players think this game lacks, and is the following: Every time you level up you get 1 upgrade point, witch can be spent on upgrading Attack power, Attack speed, Defense, Lifespan or starting gold. Plus if you agree.

Full hp, highly upgraded armor. I encounter a wolf. I attack the wolf once. Wolf attacks five times in a row. Game over.
Having your death determined by the random number of attacks the enemies get against you is incredibly fustrating

A speed button would be nice. And also do something extra when you level up. Still, great game, and it has potential to be made into a sequel. 5/5, Added to Favorites,And hoping for a Trigger Knight 2!

My first mistake was forgetting to bring Divine Edge with me... my second mistake was mistakenly thinking there was only one dragon.

Would be great if when you buy new armor damage didnt scale so that basically no matter what you die in the same amount of hits. Also, as others have said, see real reason for xp and visible changes when you upgrade weapons and armor.

The luck factor is very annoying. The game seems to be against you everytime nothing ever comes up when you want them to. Like having 700-800 with no gold ticket and the moment you have 489 2 shows up in a row. Or finally having money but the shrine doesn't show up for 6 in turn and you run out of life
These moments really drive you mad

Dude, I sprained both my arms recently and this game was epic. On behalf of the people who need a game that can be played with one button, Thank you.

Wow... this game is ridiculously hard and frustrating at times, but I can NOT STOP playing it... Must .. beat ... dragon..

I personally don't like luck-based games like this one. Failure after failure due to not having ANY gold voucher stores. Finally, I got a run with a gold voucher very early in the game and I had *gasp* 512gold!. After a fight following that encounter, another gold voucher store appeared. Protip : Get really lucky and the hard badge is yours.

I really like this game, because the concept is original, and it works pretty well actually!
I put 4 stars because v1.2 is still imbalanced even after the fixes you made.
Okay, so you generate a random sequence of events, and let the player handle that sequence. For me, this has potential, but it is a bit too "general" for me, in the sense that it allows too many possibilities. For exemple, there are sequences that are not solvable, ie even the most skilled player can not solve them, because they are absolutely impossible to solve. The simplest example of such a sequence is no shrine appearing for a very long time so that you die of lifespan=0 without being able to prevent it. Obviously you fixed that one, but there are other unsolvable sequences that ABSOLUTELY need to be taken out of the game, since there is absolutely NO WAY to beat them.

Something needs to be rebalanced, I think, between enemies making multiple attacks and lifespan counting down while in combat. If enemies making multiple consecutive attacks is an effect of your current weapon, it would be nice to know information about that to be able to make an informed decision. If not, then one or the other should change, imo, either enemies make a single attack (and maybe rarely an extra) or the lifespan timer slowed or paused while in combat. There's just something about watching an enemy chain together 8 attacks while you're on the last dregs of your lifespan that isn't fun. I do really like the simplicity of your experiment though, and think your sequel could be great with a few balancing tweaks so that making progress is less like trying to win the lottery, and more about players making the correct informed decisions.
