I think i know what most players think this game lacks, and is the following: Every time you level up you get 1 upgrade point, witch can be spent on upgrading Attack power, Attack speed, Defense, Lifespan or starting gold. Plus if you agree.

Full hp, highly upgraded armor. I encounter a wolf. I attack the wolf once. Wolf attacks five times in a row. Game over.
Having your death determined by the random number of attacks the enemies get against you is incredibly fustrating

A speed button would be nice. And also do something extra when you level up. Still, great game, and it has potential to be made into a sequel. 5/5, Added to Favorites,And hoping for a Trigger Knight 2!

My first mistake was forgetting to bring Divine Edge with me... my second mistake was mistakenly thinking there was only one dragon.

Would be great if when you buy new armor damage didnt scale so that basically no matter what you die in the same amount of hits. Also, as others have said, see real reason for xp and visible changes when you upgrade weapons and armor.

The luck factor is very annoying. The game seems to be against you everytime nothing ever comes up when you want them to. Like having 700-800 with no gold ticket and the moment you have 489 2 shows up in a row. Or finally having money but the shrine doesn't show up for 6 in turn and you run out of life
These moments really drive you mad

Dude, I sprained both my arms recently and this game was epic. On behalf of the people who need a game that can be played with one button, Thank you.

Wow... this game is ridiculously hard and frustrating at times, but I can NOT STOP playing it... Must .. beat ... dragon..

I personally don't like luck-based games like this one. Failure after failure due to not having ANY gold voucher stores. Finally, I got a run with a gold voucher very early in the game and I had *gasp* 512gold!. After a fight following that encounter, another gold voucher store appeared. Protip : Get really lucky and the hard badge is yours.

I really like this game, because the concept is original, and it works pretty well actually!
I put 4 stars because v1.2 is still imbalanced even after the fixes you made.
Okay, so you generate a random sequence of events, and let the player handle that sequence. For me, this has potential, but it is a bit too "general" for me, in the sense that it allows too many possibilities. For exemple, there are sequences that are not solvable, ie even the most skilled player can not solve them, because they are absolutely impossible to solve. The simplest example of such a sequence is no shrine appearing for a very long time so that you die of lifespan=0 without being able to prevent it. Obviously you fixed that one, but there are other unsolvable sequences that ABSOLUTELY need to be taken out of the game, since there is absolutely NO WAY to beat them.

Something needs to be rebalanced, I think, between enemies making multiple attacks and lifespan counting down while in combat. If enemies making multiple consecutive attacks is an effect of your current weapon, it would be nice to know information about that to be able to make an informed decision. If not, then one or the other should change, imo, either enemies make a single attack (and maybe rarely an extra) or the lifespan timer slowed or paused while in combat. There's just something about watching an enemy chain together 8 attacks while you're on the last dregs of your lifespan that isn't fun. I do really like the simplicity of your experiment though, and think your sequel could be great with a few balancing tweaks so that making progress is less like trying to win the lottery, and more about players making the correct informed decisions.

I don't buy a divinity edge: dragon shows up day 9.
I keep a divinity edge on me at all times after day 10: GO TO DAY 20 WITH NO DRAGON
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My tips to kill the dragon are: The dragon show up around day 10,
Armor upgrades get your life full so is usually better than the elixir (you can only use itens in battle)
if you have 2 swords or 2 armors in the screen when you buy the first one the second remain the same price (make sure you have lifespan to do it before you try)
lifespan 28% you should restore it as soon as possible if there is no other shrine on nexts or you will probably fade out.
Around day 8, 9 buy a Divine Edge and use it against the dragon it will probably be 1 hit Kill ;) hope it helps

Dragon appear in day 13>14,15... Get always 500G if a gold voucher appear (if you use this item when kill a monster it drop 1000% more gold!). Upgrade your armor for HEAL you instead buy elixir. When reach day 13 buy the special sword for 200G and keep it for the dragon. Have fun!

Actually, the initial money is just fine, IMO. The trick is to manage your money until you buy a gold voucher, then you can spend all your money on everything forever, since you get 10 or 100 times the usual money from the mob you use it on (don't exactly know).
Also, if you feel like there's a dragon coming on, be sure to keep a Divine Edge in stock (you can always heal up with armory updates, until you max them out that is), so you can one-shot him with 100 times the damage. Although that is up to luck with the stores and prediction I guess...
Hope this helps.
As for the game, it's a masterpiece, and really fun to play once you know how to handle the different shops/how to evaluate your survival chances on random monsters. ("Those damn wolves, always hitting twice...")
Can't wait for the sequel!

Reading through the comments I guess i got really lucky.. Got the hard badge in my 3rd run within like 15 mins =D Fastest hard badge ever!!

Something useful for next time: Once you have max armor and sword, those shops do nothing at all. Consider still allowing purchase of armor as it replenishes health - or swapping those shops for potion shops or the ones that replenish soul.

Some tips: when you change your consumable item (divine's edge, elixir, gold ticket) it should activate the previous item's effect. This way, if you buy a gold ticket over your elixir you heal yourself.
Also, the dragon enemy should have a different icon (maybe a red dragon icon instead of gold dragon)

Here it is some advice:
- Armor upgragrades are like a potion, when you upgrade your armor your life restores so is better to save the gold and use it only when you are in pretty bad shape.
- You can only carry 1 item and 1 item only (divine edge/potion/goldden ticket), if you buy any of those 3 having one already in the inventory, it
will replace the one you already have.
- Save the divine edge for the dragon or to kill a strong enemy when shit hits the fan :V
- Make sure to save some extra gold toextend your life span :I

Me: *dragon appears* EAT MY DIVINE EDGE ATTACK! *SMACK* *dragon dies* w00t! I killed a drag- *another dragon appears* AW PISS!

After you get max level armor, the armor shop closes and doesn't allow you to buy from it anymore so you can't use them to heal even if you have enough money. I think they should still be open for you to purchase heals after reaching max armor level. Otherwise, solid game.

Man... so close. But still a miss.
As stated before;
1. Game is too random. Unlucky streak of shops kills you.
2. XP gained at the scorecount should give ya some perks ingame in form of upgrades or wotnots.
3. The lifespan-bar is annoying since it takes money from the other upgrades.
4. The increase for upgrades kills me combined with nr. 3. ( := X
5. Getting hit 3 or 4 times in a row by a wolf hurts xtra much when you dont retaliate.
But, when all said and done the concept you've got going here have potential for greatness. Good work allthought I found it extremely annoying in the long run :)

It seems like money's too hard to come by. Enemies don't drop more loot as you progress so the increasing prices becomes too much, even for sunshrines. Maybe reduce the prices of things a little? Also, what if there's an upgrade system for every time you make a run? For example, you can earn points during your first run that can upgrade stuff like attack speed and attack strength, hp bar size, etc. for the next run. This means every run you make you get a little better and go a little farther.

Good game, but needs the following:
1)The random attack element to the battles should be balanced or removed. Watching yourself get hit 5 times to an enemy that only takes 2 to kill is rather annoying/frustrating.
2)A bonus from leveling up besides a score multiplier.
3)Dragon needs to be nerfed. Impossible to kill without a Divine Edge.
4)Either the dragon should be at a set interval, or there should be an indication to how many more events are remaining until the dragon fight when it's drawing near.
5)There should be some way to level your life span stat, whether it be through leveling up as others suggested or through a purchasable item (perhaps even tie it to the Soulshrine).
6)Days should advance slower when not in a battle event. Enemies shouldn't be getting stronger that fast while I'm stuck in a chain of shop events that I can't afford.

Way too much luck involved. I had great armor, a great weapon, full health and an elixir, but the dragon totally owned me.
What the hell is the point in playing over and over if you don't get any permanent bonuses?
