Yaknow, if the last part of the game had you not go up but go down and bring you into hypothetical depict2, that would be interesting.

I'm going to reiterate the issue with the controls that others have mentioned. Still, I really enjoyed this game and thought it was clever.

controls were so laggy that it made the game annoying. And what's worse was that it was constantly changing. You couldn't count on the jump key to work or not work.

Unfortunately the jump button steadily decreased its functionality as the game went on eventually becoming completely unreliable and causing the game to be unplayable. Unfortunately, this seemed like a fun game with some well thought out ways to challenge a player's assumptions of what is safe and what is not but is crippled due to game malfuctions.

"Don't you trust me?" well, pressing space makes me suicide instead of jump, and jumping on the creature killed me. Why would I trust you?

Reading the developers comments is seems only some people have the control problems, shame that, would have been nice to have tried completing this one...

The squares in the back spin when you move, but they also spin when you press the arrow keys. Just pointing that out.

great game u might want to check your coding for the jumping on spikes i noticed that if im on them a certain way it wont let me jump so i have to get off and jump again. just trying to help. keep up the good work :)

the controls arent good. you have to play J first and then the direction key. if you press A or D and then while holding it J, you simply wont jump. that should be fixed.

Strange.. Everybody says you can win with the spike for the good ending.. but all i did was jump down into the spikes with him right on me (like we were both into 1 again) and then i suddenly got a shield and didn't die like he did..

at the end when the screen is changing, the word deception morphs around. on the last time, it reads POETICEND, or Poetic End.

Spoiler! For the ending, I know most say to shoot the spike to kill him, but I didn't use my extra spike at all. You know that round light things that glow out of him and the clone? The ones that shift in size? I just waited for my darker light to become bigger than his brighter one, and then I jumped into the pit. I figured the lights were symbolic for the power each of them holds. The bigger mine gets, the smaller his gets, and vice versa. I don't know if this is true, but it worked for me. No relying on spikes. Just symbolism. Anyone mind trying this to prove my theory?
