the Das654 guy said that depict one/deception also equals poetic end... and it does... which is exactly why it says it in the game at the end >.>

*Spoiler to get the badge incase you're stuck at the ending*
All you have to do for the ending badge is walk towards your doppleganger and continue holding the direction you were moving in while firing the extra spike. The doppleganger falls in and you can complete the game.

Quite simply, brilliant. And for all of the people out there saying that 'The graphics are rubbish' nobody cares, this is an online game, you can't expect epic graphics from a game that isn't made by a big time developer. If you want to play games just for graphics then play them on PS3 or 360. The graphics don't matter unless the gameplay is hindered. Even then, I think the graphics are good (better than anything I could do). For those who say that 'the game is stupid' is the game being stupid, or are you being too stupid to figure out the puzzles? I mean, for god's sake the game is called decept1 which when spelt out as a word is deception except without the 'i' if that wasn't clue enough then I don't know what you need.
Anyway great game 5/5 some of the puzzles are genius and I didn't find the control system too difficult. the only annoying thing was constantly resetting on the final bit of the true ending because you only get two spikes, and the shot to the block has to be perfect.

Why are people bothering to congratulate people for noticing that "poetic end" is an anagram of "depict one"? At the end of the game the title depict one scrambles into a bunch of anagrams INCLUDING "poetic end". You did nothing more then read that from the game...

I think Depict One is a anagram of Deception(Which is also coincidentally the name of the last level) . When you beat the game, the game pretends to crash, an while it crashes, the name of the level changes to Depictone and the poeticend.

2 - To kill your doom you need first, jump, and when you are near the ground with gems,Shoot a gem (Use only one gem to climb the wall) on the air and press the forwards key to escape the hole. Then your doom will fall in the hole, because him doesn't have a spike. After this you spawn in another place, and when you walk into the light, you win.

Would have been 5/5 but sometimes when stood on a spike next to a wall it wouldn't let me jump which was quite annoying

@Jibrish - Notice how one letter lights up in the word Jump? (may have been a hint) .. But if you've tried the whole keyboard, then that's just weird.

SPOILER: I figured out the ending for the badge. ok when u get to the last lvl dont go into the beam, wait for a few seconds aand it will disappear, then go to the right and get to the bit where ur clone appears then u should have one spike left. throw that spike when in midair and it freezes u for a second then control the clone into the spikes the the screen should crack the u should teloport to a new place, then walk in the beam!!! like to help other people out

I noticed on the level "Caged" where he says that the creature is caged, unlike you or he, whom are free, if you go to the right side of his "cage" and jump into the wall, you glitch into the wall. Huh.

Wow, I loved this game. Maybe I should see what else they made *Clicks Other Games* YOU MADE TOWER OF HEAVEN TOO? YOU ARE A GOD AMONG MEN!

Would love a sequel more than anything, but it'd be really great if we could get an ammo counter for those spikes you pick up.

nvm i finally found out, jump over crystals, (having one spike left over)
shooting the dark guy and then he falls in the pit and dies and the screen cracks, saying poetic end when its almost done, u get in a bright room, go to the pillar, then it says end, free ending 2/2 + this so no one else gets this problem :P

@boredpoo If he was the opposite of you, then he actually collected the gems and fell to his doom (since you can't fall to your doom). So the gems are there so that falling down there would kill you both, not so that we could kill him.

The bad guy is similar to the negativitron in Littlebigplanet 2.
the both were "part of you"(however in LBP2. he was refering to the creators.)
they represent the "negative" part of something, and they try to avoid you from advancing.
the bad guy in this game had fear, he feared because if you died, he will die too.
his fear made him try to stop you, because he wanted to live and stay there.
but the main character wanted to escape, he wanted to live and enjoy life.
at the end the main character escaped(maybe he died too) and was happy, and the bad guy died, but he was in the dark place, he was safe.
so it's a happy ending for everyone!

I've seen lots of games lately in a similar art-style with similar themes, and it's really great. All of this Flash philosophical stuff makes me happy.
