I like how our character is surrounded by an aura of darkness, and the 'boss' and all the creatures are surrounded by auras of light.

Yeah "SpecialD"- I had the same problem with the 'J' -Jump key too! Most frustrating!! It acted like "I'll jump U when I feel like it..!" Finishing the ending took longer than playing the game levels. I was able to finish off the Lyin'Man without darting him. Lost my last one. Itchy finger. When I jumped back over to the stairsteps side & went down the steps- he tried to jump back to his side but went down the drain! Adios Lyin'Man!! Despite the J-key overall I give this game 4 3/4 stars. Quite different way of thinking things through. Definitely needs a sequel. Don't cha think or Don't Ya? >^_^<

ohhh to beat him you have to have one spike left then when you can move, jump in the air at the middle where the gems are and shoot it. you stop in mid-air but he doesin't so then trick him in to falling in the gems than u beat him! your welcome people for this plz like! :3

To get the "good" alternate ending on the last level, (spoiler btw) wait. Really, just wait. Then the beam will disappear. Walk through the wall and there will be spikes. Pick both up. There will be a wall. Shoot ONE spike at the upper part of the yellow brick. Climb it, and the person who narrates the game will show he was possessing you or something. Shoot him with the other spike and walk forward, almost stepping onto the spikes. Then you win. The end. Have a nice day.

For all players who want to break the "J" key on the keyboard (for obstinate players) or ragequit (for newbie, lol), then try the level where you have to jump and avoid the gems, with the title: - EIT.
At this level the character sometimes "slips forward" when I finish to walk ... and dies on the gem. Or it does not jump at the right time when I press the button "J" ... and dies on the gem. With all the hard games that I've tried, I've been trying for 2 hours to pass an very easy level because of this ... I do not know if it's my browser problem or some "bad input setting" in 'entire game or just at that level. I had read in the comments that someone else has had this problem ... help us Dev! :)

This is a crummy game, good concept, but the reliance on precise finger tapping makes it really frustrating once you figure out the puzzle pretty quickly, then it takes 20 tries to beat the level.

*Spoiler to get the badge incase you're stuck at the ending*
All you have to do for the ending badge is walk towards your doppleganger and continue holding the direction you were moving in while firing the extra spike. The doppleganger falls in and you can complete the game.

I see people talking about needing to be exact or get lucky during the final scene where (GAME SPOILER) you must shoot/kill the doppelganger. While there clearly is a bit of finesse and skill needed (though not much more than the rest of the game required) you do NOT have to time things perfectly so he falls into the gems while you're still in mid-air and milliseconds after you threw the spike or anything along those lines. When I jumped, I threw the spike and then just attempted to get to the other side by continuing in the trajectory I was already going. I successfully landed on the opposite side safely...and so did the doppelganger on the other side. Then I just walked in the direction necessary to make him walk into the chasm and fall. The cutscene with the game breaking up begins, then it transports you to the final "level" to finish the game. You do not need to concern yourself with perfection timing, just a basic grasp of the physics of the game and you're good. Hope this helps.

Regarding the badge: I don't know if the description is a mistake, if the game just isn't registering completion properly, or if it's an intentional lie in keeping with the theme of the game. Regardless, here are the steps that got me the badge: After you get the "1st" ending (screen says 1/2) continue playing until you get the "2nd" ending (if you don't know how, find help, there isn't room to explain). When you're at the screen showing ending 2/2 I'd take a screenshot just in case something went wrong on your end. Then click Back To Title. If you don't get the badge, refresh. Once the game loads, check the high scores to make sure the game has registered that you have the Bad Ending. When you check Good Ending it won't be there for some reason. Click to CONTINUE the game. You'll be brought to the final screen, go through once more. Repeat process as before and then refresh again. The badge *should* award now, but it took me going through the cycle a 3rd time to finally get it.

Terrible, still not sure how exactly the "ending" works, you just have to shoot him with the extra spike in a certain way so he falls in a second before you. Pure luck nonsense.

Shame that such a good game is ruined with terrible controls. Any time the liar is talking, there is a 75% chance that the game doesn't interpret you pressing jump... too bad.

to get good ending you have to make sure you got spare dart then jump while moving forward and shoot the liar and he should fell into the spikes without you and then you wait for cutscene to end and go to right into the light.

when in the level at the beginning with the 'creature who's trapped forever', you can jump inside the wall next to it. i couldn't figure out anything from there.
