Das didn't come up with the poetic end thing =P at the end of the game when the world is cracking up, the word "deception" is scrambled a few times, and "poeticend" is the last one.

Nothing new here with gameplay you have seen before. Will appeal to those who like platformers where you need to be pixel perfect.

Pretty entertaining game, although on the Jump level I swear I hit every key, and I had to go digging through comments to get it...

ClavinTheCat, you have to walk over the spikes to pick them up and then jump in front of the big wall and press K to shoot them. They will stick into the walls and you can use them as platforms. (Great game btw, 5/5)

I just love this game from the simple execution of a shady character to the actual main character to the hidden identity/deity type of reasoning. With the perpetrator creating a sense of suspense, plot, and idealism as we go through the story itself and we play as this boy with a red hoodwink who needs to overcome not just the physical challenge that is presented by the orthodox and eerie world of Depict but also with the Deception at the same time. Is as if we where playing in a character that has split personality disorder and must figure out how to solve a puzzle before time runs out. I can't wait for the producer to create a sequel to this game because it needs one. IT deserves one. I will help if I could I am great at creating characters, customization of backgrounds, and script to story boarding.

Anyone else see, when you beat the "Shadow guy", while the screen is cracking, just before it goes white, the text reads "Poeticend" meaning poetic end.

About the Poetic end part, funny fact. When you defeat you2 the game starts to act weird, and deception, the title of the level, changes into some weird words, and at the final time the name changes, there stands Poetic end.

Absolutely brilliant and unique game. Rather entertaining, just the right length, difficulty, and aesthetic to make it pleasing for all; in the retro sort of way. Nice work and hope to see more of it. 5/5.

this is amazing. i personaly have had my mind blown. but it's sort of hard at the start, not knowing the buttons. but after you figure it out, it's awsome. 5/5.

wow. i am amazed at how clever this game is. depict one is an anagram for poetic end, and also deception, which is what this game is about. love it, 5/5.

HOW TO GET THE TWO ENDINGS: 1st ending: just walk into the beam at the "last" level. 2ne ending: walk up to the beam but DO NOT enter it, wait for a few seconds and the beam will dissipate, allowing you to walk past it. You can defeat the final boss by jumping over the "gems" and firing a spike in mid-air when you above them, you will be frozen in mid-air but you clone won't be and will fall to his death. (just make sure you evade them after you un-freeze). WELL DONE: YOU ARE NOW FREE!
