Rather than using flash to resize everything down into obscurity, I suggest making the game window larger, and rearranging the board and cards so that we can see them.

This game will be great when the player base gets larger and you won't have to wait so long for a match. Easy to learn, difficult to master! I give it a 5/5.
You can get more cards in the specialization tree (first button top left). Every time you level up you get a specialization point which can be spent on a card of your choice. The gold and gem rewards you get from daily rewards and golden matches also increase significantly as you level up ;)

I want to make my pre-game post, as to all the other card games on kong, i noticed this is the first TCG. And i usually make a pregame post before i play a game i am really excited about, and i read the comments. So from what iv read, this game is going to be kickass. And i cant wait, and if its good, ill drop some money on it ;) bbl for another post of my real Opinion :D

Okay, uh... I want to like this, but being immediately greeted with scantily clad women including a rogue licking her dagger seductively isn't very welcoming to a female audience.

@cyr: Yes, it is Kong's first TCG. All of the other cardgames on here are collectible card games,or CCGs for short.. This is the first one that has had an auction feature and trading.
And its awesome. No boring resource management like MTG, a wide diversity of equally viable classes and very strategic gameplay
This is without a doubt the best card game on kongregate.

I gotta say, I love how big of fans of Kung Pow you devs are! Its one of my favorite movies of all time and the secret achievements relating to it were awesome!

I kind of knew about those already but I might be greedy if I ask for something like +5% gold or something in there as a bonus XD
You get achievement points whenever you get an achievement. 100 achievement points award you 1 spec point which can be used in the specialization menu.
The campaign basically gives you a steady run through several different decks on Ederon while telling a story. Game accomplishment wise, however, it only award you with achievements. Remember thou, achievements gives you achievement points, and every 100 achievement points grants you 1 spec point to spend on the specialization section. To test your deck before playing against other players you can use the practice mode and fight against the AI using any of the starters. You can also reset your account in case you didn't like the pick.
I think you are confusing armor with standard block. A "block" is made by using a shield or a weapon. Armors will always absorb damage regardless, unless the damage is "direct". If your attack is stopped by an armor, it was NOT blocked =)
There "are" actually several ways =) You can spend spec points in the Alchemy specialization (after level 10) to gain up to 5 gold coins per victory; You have a chance every 4-6 matches to get into a "Golden Match" which can reward gold and gems; You can get a daily reward for gold and gems by winning 5 games in one day; You can also sell tradable cards to other players in the auction house for gold or to the server in the sell cards section of the game.

Original gameplay concept as far as CCGs go, very fun to play. You actually have to take your time and read the nice card flavor text, admire the artwork, and plan your next move. The music is very well presented, it gets your blood flowing at just the right times, and the menu ambiance is very peaceful. Last on the list, Card packs are Extremely well priced, best prices so far on any CCG here on Kong. 5/5 For sure.

Had some...server issues? when doing the multiplayer. Aside from point losses (which are hard to recover from), the game just locks up and then starts eating memory until the process is terminated, as if it's trying to resolve something by setting everything on fire. Can't be bothered to spend more time without any hope of expansion or being able to outwin the losses from game lockups.

As a suggestion, I would make it just a tad bit easier to get cards, or easier to get gold, one or the other. The level of deck customization for newbies is very low. And everybody likes to experiment with decks in a card game. Even the ability to trade cards is restricted at early levels. I think you would keep a lot of new arrivals if there was some kind of reward for gaining levels (aside from one card). Like some amount of gold for instance, say 25 gold for each level up, so that by the time you reach level ten, you can afford at least a mediocre booster pack, to keep people interested and involved.
Shadow15 has the right idea sadly. But as for deck experimentation, we have just added 2 new very important features: You can now reset your account without losing your purchases at any level lower then 10 (previously, players who spent money on kreds weren't allowed to reset) and play with any of the starter decks along with the campaign decks in practice mode.

Yeah, I got messed up by this: stuff like binding orb and ice beam stop attack ABILITIES, which are different from attack spells, and direct weapon attacks.
Yeah its a terminology and balance adjustment that has been evolving for 6 years =) Some cards can be tricky and can catch people off guard if they don't read it correctly.

There is an issue with one of the wizards orbs (I dont remember its name as I was testing decks) but its supposed to make the opponent unable to attack for 2 turns, however it doesnt work as the very next turn I was attacked (by the opponents 7/5 with +3 buffed weapon)
Notice the card has a "Remove:" effect before the explanation. That means you must remove the card from your playfield (during the equip phase just double click or drag it to the discard pile) to trigger the effect.

dont be lazy and say the instructions are ingame. post them in appropriate box. Addationally kongi was a kong trading card game and predates this by a fair margin so your deffinatly not the first.
Its impossible to teach players how to play the game in just a few words unfortunately. That's why we built an in-game tutorial, a 8 pages guidebook and a video tutorial. Unless you are referring to "use mouse" or "click to play", I don't think I miss anything there. As for Trading Card Game (TCG), yes. Yes we are. "Kongai" as you were referring is the first Collectible Card Game (CCG) =)

Great strategy, unlike most "strategy" games here this one actually makes you think. Friendly host that will chat with you and answer your questions, actually asked for player imput before an update. All in all, this game needs to get to the kong public as soon as it can!!!

Trading Card Game at it's best!!! as soon as the player base is higher PvP it'll will be awesome! Just needs some more PvE content, which i know is coming soon. Also one of the few games that allows buying 20 Kreds. Looking good so far.

This game is a lot of fun. Reminds me of the times I used to play yugioh and other card games. Only its more fair this time around. :3
Except for those retract/rebuild cards. Curse you smog (retractable, does 2 damage) and armors + shields with rebuild >.<

i am encountering the same bug with rampage, also the 0/4 armor that is supposed to untap your axe if you opponent blocks it doesn't seem to work for me either. Aside from this, very very game. Always love playing new card games :)
You are confusing armor with standard block. A "block" is made by using a shield or a weapon. Armors will always absorb damage regardless, unless the damage is "direct". If your attack is stopped by an armor, it was NOT blocked =)
I see what is going on. You are confusing armor with standard block. A "block" is made by using a shield or a weapon. Armors will absorb damage regardless.

apparently, a refresh prevents you from logging in and playing the game. I refreshed because the game froze during the equip phase on the second battle of the story, and now I can't play the game because of this screen :(
If you see a message like "User name taken" that means your username got "stuck" online because of a bad connection interruption. No worries thou, these are quite normal. Just give it a minute or 2 and reload the game.
Sorry, the game has been out for 6 years now =) Some rules eventually became rather complex as the overall card collection grew with expansions. Giving there are 1300+ cards, some of them are bound to be more complex making the game a bit complicated at first for the sake of balance.
