I wrote a program to stitch together screenshots of the "cloud run" segment into a continuous image. Turns out it is slightly longer than the space it occupies on the map. https://imgur.com/a/cA7olUs

If you wanna try and brute force your way through the tower, go North, West, or South based on this combo: SSSWWWSWWNWWWSSWSWNWNSWWSNWWNNWWSNSWSSNWNWSWNSSWNNSWNSNWSNNWWWWWNNNW
As it doesn't matter when you start the combo, and the exit is always to the west (based on the map), this makes it much faster (and easier) to brute force the combo. And yes this was the shortest such combination I found.

"OH MY GOODNESS THAT'S VIRIDIAN'S HEAD SLIDING AROUND, WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?? AND WHY IS THERE A HAMMER AND SICKLE FLYING ABOUT?? WHAT IS ANYTHING RIGHT NOW!?!?"

I am going to have to quit. This is way too much a game full of pointless bs rooms that don't have any reason for you to be there, hidden pixels that don't let you jump, which is really fing annoying especially in places where the ground is already disappearing and five screens in there's something you have to get around and you have to find the one fing pixel where you can get around it. Being able to fing jump at that point would be really appreciated. No way to get back to top part of map. Endless bs crap like that. I'm done.

I heard you guys like maps of this game, so I went ahead and decompiled the map data and extracted the tiles. The map data was converted to an array of div elements holding the tile images. Some tiles are off-center because flash sprites have their own centering coordinates, while extracted images will always align to the top-left corner. Nice, all places explored (except 9 at the sky), all gems, the secret gem (obviously, because it counts toward the 30), the secret place that has that ugly demon-like thing, the place with boobs (nice drawing), the entire hell, all portals, melancholy marvin (didn't understood that but its okay), and i think it's all.
Great game, at the start i thouht it was a common game of logic, but then, when finished that everything after this point was a giant labrynth!
At the start of the game, i saw everyone saying about hell, i thouht this part was just hard... that wasn't just hard...
Writing down in a paper those positions to take helped me a lot, being that i one there something like 7 times (5 times unecessary)

I've searched for hours for the last gem with no luck. The map is completely discovered except for a few in the sky + 1 in the blue area. How do I get to that blue room? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP FOR CHRIST SAKE :-)

30/30 and melancholy Marvin? I ended up with only 8 blanks on the map, all in the sky around the castle area. Still all in all a good game!

The thing I find really annoying about this is that, for a game that encourages you to explore every last area and hunt down all those gems, you end up not being able to fill in the entire map. It annoys me more than the lack of secondary teleport points, the occasional control glitches, and landing on unwanted save points.
Failing to pander to the OCD tendencies that the game otherwise encourages prevents me from giving it 5/5.

(SPOILER of what the secret is) Played for many days and finally unlocked the secret. All it does is only to make the character ugly. Now I see how "this place will change you forever".
Anyway the game is completed, so i guess the character is destined to look ugly....

"It's a secret to everybody." Finally found the last gem. Well, it wasn't that hard to figure out once I had all but one gem. Actually writing down where each gem I found was helped a lot, and then it was just to cross it off once I actually got it.

Very nice map CluelessWonder. There is a secret way for accessing the blank case under the "help me". You have to go through the wall of the left adjacent case. The "fake" wall is not at the floor level, you must jump from the upper case. This room is hell type with lava, text and a draw, no teleport and no exit but the initial entrance.

Very enjoyable game, but please change it so the game requires manual activation of save points (down), add a map symbol to mark discovered but uncollected gems, and add a map warp point for each area. I'm only missing two gems and the big sky block, and all the backtracking is killing me.

If only there was a double jump upgrade.. even at the end, so it would be easier to replay all the areas to go get all the gems.

Just another tip (spoiler?). There are two rooms without an entrance, but you still can enter. One has a gem. I am only 1 gem away from revealing the secret, but not really in the mood to go through every room again looking for it. Good luck to you guys.

Say at the beginning that you can move both ways soon enough!
Thinking about a whole game centered on that mechanic made me stop playing it... Luckily the comments pointed that out, but make it clear into the game :)

Started out really cool. Then I got the ability to move freely, and thought it was an excellent switch in gameplay. Then it turned into a gigantic maze that gives me no real sense of direction, and a map that only fills w/ identical colored blocks. Lost interest after about 5 minutes. 3/5.

I've cleared every room beneath the sky. And I believe the factory (grey tiles) is the only way up. So here is one tip. Don't go up the factory unless you're sure you will not go back down again. There are some rooms you really don't want to repeat running.

I think it would be better if there are labels showing where you've discovered a gem and collected one. 27 out of 30 so far. Can't recall whether I've missed any I have seen. around 20 rooms not discovered yet. hate all the tracking back. only 1 fast-travel point is definitely not enough.
And I've found that "gotta quit this f**king circus" room, just an easter egg?

I'm pretty sure the purpose of this game is to tick the player off... yet it's strangely compelling... yet I'm done playing it.
