4.5/5 :: The game was basically one of those relaxing games that aren't hard but fun. The only downer is the ending (which many had sad already). But overall, it was very calming to play over a stressing day (did I just rhyme?).

Very good and very short, unfortunately. Also, you can kill one of the pyramid thingies through the 24 gem gate without opening it.

bug found: when you find a guardian and if you leave the arena for any reason the enemies (including the guardian) dissapear and a gem gets stuck in the ground (unpickable)

Definitely would benefit from cutting down on the huge amounts of travel time. Since enemies stay dead, it's just screen after screen of uneventful walking. Allowing the player to teleport between checkpoints (they already look like teleporters) would be a nice addition.

I'm not going to comment on the "lack of a good story" because, after all, it's YOUR game, and I imagine you made it this way because you wanted it.
However, it doesn't come without any criticism: I think it would have been better if you didn't have someone telling you what to do, how you move and what your items do. It would have gone better qith the atmosphere if the only words in the whole game were the words "play" and the title "Blue Knight". I say this because I got some serious nostalgia of playing "Out of this World" ("Another World", as it is known in some places) when I was a kid and, let me say, that's a huge compliment if you've ever played that game.
This is a great game for what it is. I congratulate you for making it and I hope that you make a sequel but, even if you don't, I'd be glad of playing more games like this coming from you.

Epic bossfight wasn't that epic. Just hold 'w' while firing at the boss thingy. After 10 seconds apply 'a' en 'd' accordingly. It's a good game, but there's no ending. Would've been 5/5 but with this anti-climax it's 4/5

I have no complaints about what's here. It's what's missing that kept this from being truly great. I consider it a compliment to ask a developer for more. It means I like what I see and just want more of it. So that's what I'm doing now. One more game with more in it, please!

A misson? Kill all the enemys No problem. Wait, what?! I have to find a weapon there? Why don´t you give me a weapon? No money? Ah, come on...

the game was to easy and the gun made no sense, you would think that a single shot would be more accurate then full auto but a single shot jumps around just as much, the ending was unclear. it needed a way to upgrade your gun, or make the jetpack have a limited amount of fuel before you have to land, but otherwise pretty good game 2 1/2 stars

Who goes to an alien planet to destroy their entire race by themselves without a gun? Lol great work though loved the game, keep it up!

i think that the guardian's protect diamonds and you have to get all the diamonds to power up the escape pod thing then you crash onto another planet and then create a sequel from there...also it needs achievements....+ if you agree

To easy all you need to do for the boss is sit in the top right corner with jetpack and when his shield is down he starts shooting right at you when its just about to hit let go of your jetpack and then go back up easy as pie.

Yeah, I didn't actually get hit once all throughout the game, which wouldn't be that big an issue except for the fact that it makes it so that there's really only 2 useful powerups in the whole game...as some others have said, there just really wasn't enough here.

Nice game but really way too short and too much backtracking which really doesn't support the gameplay at all, sorry.
But I guess you can make something good out of it easily.

kept getting a bug where i couldn't pick up the black diamonds, it happened almost every time i died right after killing an enemy.

Pretty good game, overall, great atmosphere. The gameplay was fantastic and intuitive (at least for righties). The leveling and gating systems were well done, but it could have used a few extra enemies before the earlier gates in case something went disastrously wrong and the player lost a crystal or two. Agreed that the clues *did* make it seem like something interesting was going to happen in the boss's chamber, but I got over it (there was enough foreshadowing that it was just a boss fight.... The game clearly had a lot of ethics thrown in it from "you've got to exterminate everything to humans can live here" to "population crisis was temporarily resolved"; first, people like to be on the winning side of (any) ethical debate and I just kinda felt dirty with every bird and domo-kun that I killed. Second, that's why a twist or choice ending would have been *really* excellent, I mean the sky would be the limit :D

Nice game. Could be a bit more challenging. Too much tramping around; better world design would improve the ratio of fun to not fun. Cheers.

Very good basis, but it needs to be a lot longer, and a little more difficult. I only died twice the first time I played simply out of not caring because I was fighting from on top of a respawn point.

Somehow reminded me of The Sacred Armor of Antiriad. Nice game, but I agree with the others who say that this game begs for a twist ending. An ancient god / race set free, you find their village there, which you have to / somehow destroy, you wake up to find this was all a dream, whatever.
And yeah. It is usually possible to move upwards (i.e. swim up :) ) in water.
