Having the last planet take forever to consume is just...boring. It doesn't add suspense or show that the last planet was the best, it just feels poorly planned. Other than that simple little thing, great job!

great game just needs cosmetic touches and badges. 4.5/5 (since kongregate doesn't give that option i rounded up to 5/5)

last boss = create 4 shell shooters (i have them at lvl 1) and rush to center
you will eat the planet asap and even get the 1,5min boss kill achievement xD
epic easy win

In case anyone didn't, buy mana first, health second, and save points for the level 9 unit. All of the challenges including the last boss become cake.

Biggest turn off to the game was the timed boss challenges. Other than that major let down, I think you've got a great game here.

needs a survival mode. As stated, you rarely get a gun past lvl 5-10. The last planet taking a long time sucks, but I understand the reason behind it. You can go through the last boss and right to the planet without damage.

love it, love the idea of getting up to level 99 but the game is a bit short and usually won the level before any gun gets past 10
Be nice if you built guns and kept them through the whole game getting more and more upgraded

Has anyone REALLY leveled up their guardians to level 99? It seems like a tremendous waste of time grinding to do so...

past level 7 nothing seems to happen to your little turrets. why do you say it goes to lvl99 ifnothing changes past 7?

the concept of the game is good but the calibrations are off. I always try to sidestep at least a cm but the game counts it as contact though it obviously missed. Plz fix that

Great idea for a game. I look forward to a follow up with more levels, more intricate upgrade system (multi-upgrade ships), more upgrades, more types of defences (non-moving turrents, a weapon controlled by the main ship that can be fired seperate). Use variety to make the game addicting. Also, have an expansive selection of enemies and achievements to up the game's popularity.

I really would prefer a different font for the numbers, it's cute but hard to read. At medium and low quality it's hard to distinguish between 5,6,8, and 9.
Neat game, and fun.
I kind of wish I could see the results of leveling guardians. It's neat when they get visible changes at levels 4 and 7 but I can't see what makes my level 70 wide shooter guardian worth spending a couple hours grinding for.

To me, the game was fun. Not Great, persay, but fun. One thing I noticed, though, was the lack of need to level up your guys all the way to level 99. To me, they stopped getting stronger around level 7, sadly. I'd have liked a more progressive appearance/attack change the higher you went, but whatever, it was fun as it was.

Planet: "So Mr. Space Whale, we meet again." Mr. Space Whale: "Yes. I have come to eat your planets to even out the universe." Planet: "Then we must kill you" Mr. Space Whale: "I doubt you will. I has minions that ccan one-shot you." Planet: "Damn you Mr. Space Whale. Damn you."

Hahah for some reason this reminds me of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Maybe in the whale's fury he ate some planets before plummeting to the ground.

I liked it at first, but it quickly became tiresome. The lvl 19 cap, the need up lvl your critters every level, the fact that time counts against you while on the upgrade screen, the horrible number displays that you can never tell if it's a 2,3,5,6,8, or 9.......too many annoyances

I can confirm that nothing special happens at lvl 99 and that dismissing a guardian gives a full refund. Be sure to spend it before leaving the summon screen or you lose everything above your max mana.

I love how you're a space whale 'keeping the harmony' in the universe by destroying planets and stars. For all we know, the 'bad guys' are just the inhabitants of the planets trying to keep from having a whale destroy their civilization.
Anyway.. Needs: More levels, more features, the ability to see what upgrading your guardians during a level does to its stats, the ability to even see your guardians stats, survival mode, unlockable difficulties (because this is way too easy if you get 6 level 7 shell shooters), etc etc etc. Overall it needs much more in-depth gameplay to keep it entertaining and more features if you intend to make a sequel. I give it a 4/5 because it's entertaining enough to have kept me playing for 3 hours but this is mostly due to wanting to max out all upgrades and it taking so long to level up. Needs improvement. :P

All achievements done, 5/5 good game. Would be nice if it was realistically possible to upgrade units past level 10 or so. Theres no need for 99 levels.....it takes so long to get the mana back, and im not sure the maximum amount would even go that high...
