My first reaction was to complain that the stars being so much smaller than the planets made no sense at all. Then it occurred to me that I was playing a game in which a cute lovecraftian space monster magically summoned semi-sentient space pistols to protect it while nomming on planets to preserve some odd celestial harmony. Suddenly, realism was a lesser concern.

Um, honestly? I keep playing it even though I've finished all the missions because it feels like there's an easter egg I have missed, or perhaps it is simply the fact that it feels like too little to whet my appetite for planetary destruction, also, feel a little let down that all my hard work during each mission gets completely obliterated when I have to finish, because every single mission I've had to sit there and grind my guardians to make them strong again and again.
The finishing touch from my POV as a player would be to have some kind of after-game bonus, there's loads of avenues because of the originality and imagination that's been put into this, so I won't say set a bar that might be too far-fetched for you to reach.
REALLY hoping to see a sequel at least.

dude u need to change the font for the numbers the 5s look like 8s

IN THE SECOND LEVEL WHERE U NEED TO DESTROY THE BOSS IN 1 MINUTE IS THAT ALL THREE OR JUST ONE?

Is it me, or has anyone else noticed that most mofunzone games are pretty fun, but are kinda repetitive and don't really have much of an ending?

progress tracker is needed for this game, especially if your trying to do everything at once and can't see how far you've got, for this perticular detail i have to say 4/5 but overall good concept, simple, fun, and addictive keep it up ^^

Why do the guardians sort of look like the enemies when you upgrade them? Maybe for the sequel ;-) The font is pretty annoying to read unless you are in the guardian menu. Great game, make the next one better.

i like that its so easy to just camp there while my guardians kill off every wave....but srsly, the game doesnt even tells you how many planets ur supposed to eat...

Something I forgot: the font is extremely awkward, especially when it comes to numbers. I should be able to distinguish a 2 from a 9 at a glance.

This is less a comment than a review, I guess. Fun game, certainly an intriguing premise in terms of both story and mechanics, but it has some very serious problems in execution. The time trials border on impossible until you have the final gun, which is an absolute game-breaker. There's no reason for eating the final planet to take so long unless the player is reckless enough to attempt it while the boss is still alive--and even then half the time would serve the same purpose. Most of the game's actual depth is too easy to miss. There's no way to return to the main menu without reloading the page. The game is so short and the stats so inflated that there's no point in skill points for anything but the fifth gun. This is a prime example of a lackluster, poorly thought out execution of a genuinely creative idea.

Great idea for a game. I look forward to a follow up with more levels, more intricate upgrade system (multi-upgrade ships), more upgrades, more types of defences (non-moving turrents, a weapon controlled by the main ship that can be fired seperate). Use variety to make the game addicting. Also, have an expansive selection of enemies and achievements to up the game's popularity.

Nice concept, sorta. Gameplay could/should be much more indepth with multiple levels of difficulty. Enemies porting out of nowhere is cool and all, but is that the only meager defense a planet has? No spikey cushioning (jk), internal magma, etc? Also, shell shocker is game breaking. Get it and you cant be stopped, even if you leave it at level 1.

You can do the "kill a boss in X time" multiple times to increase your max mana as high as you want. though there is little point to that and NO point to being able to hit level 99 with each guardian.

also, hasn't anyone noticed that maybe, you're not the good guy here, I mean you're a planet eating monstrosity that summons things that can easily blow up an asteroid belt and maybe the bosses are just defending their home planet...

Ability to refund spent talent points would be nice, I decided half way through I didn't like one guardian but now the points spent on upgrading him are wasted, Also unlocking more than 6 max helpers would be nice.
And of course I'll echo the 'more levels' requests.

Biggest turn off to the game was the timed boss challenges. Other than that major let down, I think you've got a great game here.

Minor complaint about the "summon" button. It's a pain in the but to repeat the last 20~ seconds of eating a planet after upgrading a guardian. Not game breaking , but still a nuisance. Overall game is good but some bugs and difficulty by-passers lower my score to a 3/5.

What is the purpose of having a max mana Limit? If I'm too busy dashing around to not die, or I'm eating something and don't want to reset the timer, I don't want the mana I would get to go to waste.

It's impossible to do the later challenges, simply because having all six guardians out kills the performance due to the bullets thrown out. Don't get me started if they're all shell guardians.

"baddies who will want to stop you"... From eating planets? Isn't a world-eater part of every culture's legends, and it's ALWAYS EVIL?!?

WHALES ADVENTURE PT. 2
Mr. Space Whale, having defeating the small germ creatures, moved on t the more civilized world next to it. He encountered A large face like station, and entered in dialogue.

well bosses are easy with just swarming 6 pierce guardians... unless that of final boss, seems to be need to gather alot of stars around outer edge to constantly upgrade them faster than mana regen is able too.

This is fun.--original, nice artwork, whimsical and creative design. I would love to see a sequel! My suggestions would be pretty minor. The font (while cool) is a bit hard to read, especially for numbers, which gets confusing when you're upgrading with your skill points. Also, the summon screen kicks you out when you're summoning a guardian--it would be nice if you could just make changes to the amounts and then leave the screen--then the guardians could spawn one after another. That might mean that you have to be able to move while you're summoning, but I think it would be a positive change. Also, if you make a sequel, make it longer!
Keep up the great work!

Here's an easy way to do the star-eating challenges: just pause the game. The stars will regenerate over time, even if you've paused the game.

The movement feels stiff and too fast(I kept running into the huge swarms of enemies). It's a clever concept but with very poor execution. Boring gameplay, uninteresting graphics and irritating controls.

Don't mass wide shooters. They look impressive - but their attack does almost nothing. It took me so long even when every shot was hitting the boss to kill it with 6 of em alive.
