I think that if they make a second one that they should add new modes such as online multiplayer and story im just putting it out there click + if you agree.

They need badges for this game. How about a medium badge of winning the game on normal and then a hard badge on winning the game on the abyss difficulty?

It would be good if you could play a map conquest campaign or somethimg and be able to upgrade: units, population max, income... maybe if another gets made.

High Lord is too powerful though. it can be op, but its only existing counter is the Immortal, and its a weak counter, while the Immortal is countered very strongly by Monks or Novices. you can't stop High Lords with Monks or Novices. also Iron Knights and Mages are too weak.

it's a very simple and not very thrilling game, but it's quite well designed. you can clearly tell by the strange but functional (im)balance of the units, the non-retarded AI (late game anyway), and the way the resource system plays in to how you use your units as you progress, that the designer understands strategy very well.

early game: build mostly Samurai. counter enemy Samurai with Swordman or Heavy Swordman, or Zombie. counter Zombie with either Swordman type. counter either Swordman with a Monk and/or Newbies/Veterans/Novices. counter those with Ninjas (or Samurai), counter Ninjas with Samurai (or Zombie). Mid-game (3000/3500+ income) same but use more Monks, and no Newbies or Vets, and you can counter Samurai with Vampires or Cavalry, and spam hordes of Novices at the right time. counter Novice hordes with High Lords, Cavalry or Mages. Late Game (like 6500+ income) use mostly High Lords, counter them with Immortals and Vampires, counter those with Monks, counter Monks with Ninjas or melee-ers+Mages, counter Ninjas with anything, and counter Mages with Iron Knights, Cavalry or High Lords.
