it IS possible to choose multiple units in a single round. at the corner of the screen there are 3 icons: the top one says how much money you have, the second how much money you will get the next round, and the third how many more troops you can summon this round. as long as you have enough money and you can summon more troops this round, you can simply switch to another unit. or you can simply switch the unit while your units are summoned.

Great game! Can't help but be reminded of warcraft or starcraft2 TUG maps when playing this. Would like to see formations and a campaign with upgradable stats and unlockable units. Maybe make a way to organize the unit selection screen by armor type and damage type. All in all a great start, keep it up!

I've heard the music used in other games, not exactly the greatest effort in sound department overall. The sprites are decent though, remind me of some of my favourite RPGs.

There is a lack of complexity in the "choose newbs until income is high" that needs fixing. You don't need to defend your base - it does pretty well on its own. If you were to add a bounty for units killed (rewards better unit choice early) it'd make the decision more complex. Look to some of the Warcraft 3 House Wars (or some kind of wars); they do a great job of balancing, as well as adding more armor types.

Not a bad game, but nothing to write home about. Missing army control on the battlefield. The info on the game was lacking as well. You need to make the cheap units to get your cash upgraded, or your done for. Upgrades would be awesome as well, maybe map magic too? 3/5 with lots of potential.

hmmmm well actually, a full team of samurais beat the computers full team of monks, why? samurais are cheap and inexpensive and only cost 1 supply, whereas, a monk costs 2 supply, therefore you can have 60 samurais and only 30 monks, and therefore, samurais win because of there number, and since they do the same amount of damage to each other, samurai win.

I think the hierarchy's Samurai & Swordman groups until about 1.2k, then, once a cluster of your troups are knotting in the center, toss a Novice group in followed by Ninja, another pair of Samurai & Swordman groups, then Cavalry to sweep past and take down the Crystal. Move the cursor in the middle of a deploy to get more than one type of troup in a turn. Diversifying from the whole top row is often great.

I am not sure whether I like that the game is part skill and part luck. I created a two player game to control each side and the blue was winning for about ten rounds and then the red player started to win. Each side had the same units, gold, and income though...

To all those who still don't understand why the game doesnt have a "no unit" action: becasue its not needed nor useful. The game is about increasing income while spawning units, and with a simple mathematical count you can understand that increasing you income each time by 20% and loosing gold (for good!!!) is much better than saving money with the small thing you have there. And IF you are already rich and need a little gold stack for the final push of victory just spawn the newbie's because they cost nothing and spend all your units supply(MAX 1200 gold). Still if this counts much for you take this as a challange to make it more interesting, or- forget about gold and try focusing more about spawning the anti-types for the unit the enemy just sent against you, that is very important in this game.

Alright, alright, after a while a new song from mofunzone on his games would be nice, ya know like maybe once at least.

For all those saying how do you save up money, you dont understand how this game works!
Its about increasing your income not your gold, your income increases and increases untill you no longer need to worry about gold

Was I the only one who read the title as "Migraine Wars"? I has curious to know how to defeat someone armed only with a splitting headache...

its entertaining for a little, but its easy to figure out and you cant do much with it. reminds me of a much crappier version of the warcraft minigames

Was not a huge fan of this game. Normally I love games where you have to over take your enemies side of the field, but this one was very unbalanced, you could have played this game with 3 units and it would have been the exact same. If there was something else the player could have done, say upgrade units or cast spells or gosh, anything, this game could have been better, but instead i feel like you took the sprites from some other game and attempted to make something that isn't really fun at all. Both you and the computer can get the same amount of money, and both you and the computer can build massive armies, it's a giant stalemate. Sorry, 3 of 5 at best, but more than likely 1 of 5 for the bad sound and the lack of fun.

for the people rating down because of the music. Why rate down just beacause of that??? its good battle music if you ask me, and besides. you can just mute it cant you? 4/5 does need a story line and campaign though, and i personally believe there should be a way to save up your supply if you don't use all of them one turn.

Great game idea, but the fact that there is only 1 battle (even if 4 levels of difficulty) gets it a 3/5 from me. make a quest/campaign mode which will definately bump it to a 4 if not a 5 depending on how good

Another thing I don't particularly care for.....there's not a lot of balance in the upper levels. A full group of calvary, for example, can take out a full group of mages, iron knights, or dread lords. Against high lords, monks do better than the 6 classes above them.....yet they get wiped against zombies or samurai.
Another huge problem is any ranged unit.....the range should be 7 or 8. It's dumb to call 30-60 units but only 8 of them can attack, with the rest running back and forth in place.
Tank range should also be increased slightly....maybe between 2 and 3. It's stupid to see 5 of your mobs standing right in front of an opponent getting hit, yet they can not hit back because they formed a little pyramid and can't get around it. That bug makes high lords much too powerful...simply because you don't have to rely on multiple units to make the kill. If you called 10 mobs and all 10 could hit tho.....the game would have the balance you intended.

I rated this game a 4/5, but after playing it a little more it really doesn't deserve that rank. It makes little difference how you start out or manage resources early.....the whole game comes down to getting 2 consecutive good waves when the opponent is low on money. He could have 3 full parties on the field with top tier mobs, but if I have over 10k gold and he's under 3k.....I win within the next minute. Kinda stupid to play 10-20 mins of "foreplay" just waiting for that opportune moment.....and this is on the hardest level mind you.
