Under rating threshold (show) Really enjoyed playing the game. It does get stale though once you figure out how to optimize the income per turn and still beat the computers units. It would be good if it had a campaign that you bought and upgraded the units. It might also be fun in the skirmish mode if the units you got were randomized so you didn't always have the same units as the computer. Say get 2 of the first 3 unit types, 2 of the next 3 and so on. You could also vary the terrain across the map to benefit different units. Finally, needs more types of ranged units, or secondary throwing weapons on some of the units for when they all pile up behind each other. Lots of potential in the game, but needs some variations to make it replayable. 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Newbies are a good way to get income in the game, while their numbers can hold units off, it wont be enough for advanced units like Heavy Swordsmen. Zombies make a great defense, with their all around capabilities, cheap cost, and high health, they are the best to use in the beginning if you focus completely on attack. and later on, Monks are highly effective until horsemen come, and your crystal will have enough money to send only one of them, Vampires are just a ranged unit to fill the gap between Novice's and Sorccerers, And my favourite unit, the Iron Knights, they take up 2 POP, and are highly effective in large numbers, they can seriously dent an enemies offensive, their only weakness being attacked by loads of sorccerers. Game rating: 4.5/5. I know its missing just one something that can make this game!

Under rating threshold (show) just do newbies over and over till u get 60 per turn then do heavy swords till u get 45 per turn, then immortals, dread lords, high lords (immortals onwards should be about 10)

Under rating threshold (show) im sorry for double posting but i forgot to mention. also use units like veteran ninja and novice but only when you can clear out gold you dont want 20 leftover gold thats not helping you income

Under rating threshold (show) Great game concept, but it needs a few additions: To be able to cast spells To choose a faction or empire to play as. So you don't end up with monks and ninjas fighting WITH zombies and death knights. More ranged units

Under rating threshold (show) After a while, the only thing you need to know is samurai > ninja > monk > sword man > samurai. I swear, we went through this cycle about 10x before the abyss mode computer switched to a different unit other than samurai/ninja/monk/sword man.
