Under rating threshold (show) Actually in roman times, a thumbs up meant death and a thumbs down meant you would live. The thumbs up symbolised 'slit his throat' while the thumbs down symbolised 'sheathe your sword'

Under rating threshold (show) In Roman times, "thumbs up" meant you were not spared. Thumbs down meant you were. They reversed it in Gladiator and in everything subsequent because people today would not understand. Fun true fact.
