Combat of the last game was the weakest point of it; therefore, making it the focus of this game was a poor decision. What I liked about the first one was how different it was from every other game I'd played. This one had that feeling as well, but to a lesser extent, as it was based less around problem solving and seeing all of the witty death scenes, and more about combat. The combat is... meh. Just run at enemies and bash one button. If you were already looking to make an RPG-like game, you could have added some more depth to combat. Lucky Tower was one of my all-time favorite games, and while this one is a worthy successor, it's just not quite as fun.

This may just be my computer, but why is horse jumping so delayed? When it's going freely, it's fine, but when an obstacle comes, it takes like a minute to pull off one jump. I got stuck on the area with the hanged man for about 15 minutes thanks to this, and raged there after. DARN YOU APPLEJACK

giving the fact that the hair is fake
maybe the 3rd game should tell us how he got it
the very first adventure
or
an adventure that set both in the past and the future

Just reporting a glitch: if you try to pick up an item when your inventory is full, the item will disappear, and you'll have no way to get it back. This is a problem with items that are essential to the plot. Please upvote so the developers can see.

Beginners tip, when you get to the town, go to madeline's maces, then after the cutscene (if that was your first time :P) click on the heart on the bottom left. it has a great shield, armor, and weapon (though I am not sure if it is the same on as silentassasin591)

I went thru the teleporter at the same time I attacked, yelling "Carnage!!!"
Now he won't stop. He just says carnage over and over and over again. =/

Far too challenging for a funny game. Besides, teleport is not working, for some reason, even if I refresh the page. I'm frustrated and bored. You did so much better with the first game! That was real fun.

And the other food items function: dead rat removes a tooth, tongs remove a tooth and can be reused, broccoli kills you (unfortunately), potato and fish makes a face of disgust, garlic makes you burp garlic breath, the egg is just for making a splat on the ground. Any consumable I did not list does nothing when you eat it. (even the brush :P)

For the people who want the Bard's Trumpet: 1.Go to the Forest. 2.Pass all the levels. (for level 3, try to make him smash himself into the wall.) 3. Go through the middle door. 4. Kill everyone in there (someone SHOULD be carrying a trumpet) 5. collect it. 6.Give the trumpet to Bard.
This will make the bard play a song. A guard will fall down and you can collect his halberd. It does 30 damage (i think) and is 2 handed!

While I thought the original premise of Lucky Tower was pretty entertaining, there's some serious potential for the series if you can keep up this sense of humor with some refined controls and combat. I really enjoyed it.

The dialog scenes are driving me nuts. I keep losing focus during them and look back at the screen to a seemingly random question. A click through dialog option is a much needed improvement.

I know I'm going to be voted down for saying this by the legion of low level accounts praising it, but I hate this game.

to get past the cave with the fishy, what you need to do is simple... stand on the rock so it start comming up. once you can JUST see it's grin, jump on it's head and run across.

so after a few hundred tries I finally get past the part where you ride the horse... really need to remove the trees that block all the rocks/cliffs/other things that make you lose...

Mkay so i think my game glitched. The mushroom and hair turned into maps when i put them in the slot the map used to be. I now have 3 maps and no mushroom or hair to complete the quest. Help?

Adding a mute button would be great. I do not mind listening, but sometimes. I would prefer to listen to something else.

Dialogue stays on the screen ridiculously long, it lags like there's no tomorrow and no mute button. Until at least a few of these things are sorted out it's impossible to call it a great game

Doesn't have the same feel as the first one. Still played it and liked it, but only 4/5- is more of a quest game than a game of hilarity and carnage.

Maybe I'm just missing this setting, but there really needs to be dialogue captions or something, for those of us who don't have sound/can't hear. Also, the ability to go back to just before the three endings, rather than having to go through the whole tower again, would be nice-- I don't really WANT to fight my way through the skeletons three times.
