Yes, everyone use the word 'nostalgic' to describe the game. That way the word will have as much meaning left to it as 'epic'.

And I'm going down in a burning sea of NOSTALGIA. I remember having an old dos comp... played this, Rogue, and some plane game. I also remember now why I preferred Rogue, the computer on this is extremely difficult, as it can quickly zero in on your position after the first banana hits. So you gotta be fast and lucky, cause depending on how far away it hit from you, you may only have that one shot. Still, it's fun.

Props to the person(s) who made this and uploaded it. I'm sure it's nostalgic for many others like myself.. Way to go..

Oh man, I used to have this game on my old comp. Used to play it with my dad. Used to love going into the coding and messing around with the colors and graphics, too!

Im so damn thankful for this. I was sick from nostalgia. Any ideas how I can get this for my mac? Well how to run the .bas in dosbox anyways. Thanks.

i Love this game :)
But just a clone? its easier then playing around with DosBox, but you can simply add some more options!
Like adding a point to change the detonation radius of your banana! Thats what I've done with the original .bas-Code ;)
Or an option that the wind will change during the levels.
But all in all a comfortable clone of gorilla!

Funny, my parents claimed to have made this game.. I actually have a copy of it they "Made" on a floppy I played one time..

I liked the game, inputing the values instead of the mouse just like in other games is much more challenging. There is still one thing that catched my eye: gravity is measured in meters/sec^2 not in meters/sec. Its not a big deal though, 5/5 game.

'Good' is not about how fancy the graphics are and it's not about how many options you have or whatsoever. Some (or even most?) people think a game is 'good' because they like the ideas and the feelings it conveys. In that sense a pac man clone with crappy 8bit graphics can still be better than the super uber 3d pac man deluxe. In that sense I really like this game and I don't feel anyhing like I 'need' to vote in any other way.
