This game is a throwback to the days when nobody took flash gaming seriously because they were mostly simplistic, grindy mini-games. Why Kongregate decided to showcase this game via the Badge of the Day is beyond me. This garbage was passable in 2004, this is no longer the case.

Never before have i complained about anything but I can hold my tongue no longer. I have a hard time believing this game is worth of the badge of the day. I have become so bored and frustrated with this terrible and grindy game that I (for the first time in a long time) refuse to get the badge of the day. Horrible game Horrible choice Kong. 1/5. Never rated a game so low in my life.

I think you also need to do a new trick while the first one is still not fully finished. I did a flip and before I was fully turned back I did up-up-up thing in the air and got the badge.

BOTD is rather difficult... I don't think it's because I'm bad at the game either... I agree with most of these reviews... It takes a long time to get any money so the game is rather tedious and gets boring rather easily. My rating - eh 2/5, could be better, needs more content and better design, it would be good.

OK , for the EASY badge >>> You have to perform 2 different tricks n the air , or on the ground... 2 up up and then 2 wheelie wont count... !!! Save up for your wheelie (maybe get the wheels + rocket first) Do the wheelie when you're moving forward , and do it again when you're moving backwards (that's called an "endo" ) >>> So : 2 different air tricks OR 2 different ground tricks ;-)
I wanted you guys to be saved by the frustration... ;-)

done on jump 114
got the hard badge before the medium Badges, because i had no idea how to trigger the bosses before...
Monkey: need Solid Gold Cart + Hang Glider
Worm: need Dumper + Rocket #4 and the Dumpster Dive
So its not about range, its about what upgrades you have

I'm pretty disappointed with this game. Both for the fact that it has badges (when there's much better games out there that deserve to have badges first) and that it's the badge of the day (ss if this game deserves to be highlighted...).

Dear developers, this game have been here since 2009. Most of the comments are telling you the prices are too damn high. I don't even know why Kongregate put this as BotD. Please lower the prices and update the game.

I honestly can't believe this got badges. It's just not fun at all. Maybe it gets fun after half an hour when you can afford things, but it's not worth the investment of time that would determine that.
There's no help about what qualifies for a combo. Apparently two of the same trick doesn't count, and nor does an air trick then a ground trick.

The upgrades are just too expensive, i've been playing for over half an hour and i'm still only making ~2k on a perfect run. Considering you need over 215k or 230k to max out the dumpster and gold carts respectively (Ontop of the 100-200k of other upgrades), it makes the game extremely tedious. Was going to give a 4/5 but the poorly implemented upgrade system brings it down a notch.

Yeah, 1/5 for being virtually the exact same game as part 1, only with 100x the grind factor. Tried to go for the badge. Like 80 runs in, I still need 100k for a golden dumpster that does.... Who knows.

How on earth does this game have almost 4 stars? It takes forever to buy upgrades. I managed to buy a groupie, upgrade my wheels and get some rockets so figured that I probably had enough airtime to do the up and out trick twice. I missed by a fraction of a second and they killed my groupie. If this game has put anyone off this entire genre of game then they should go have a play of Learning to Fly 2 which is brilliant.

Wait... It costs 4500 dollars for rubber wheels, and how is he getting money from jumping off a cliff in a shoping cart anyway?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
point penalty for buying the dumpster, one time use helmet/groupies, and everything is expensive to the point of being tired of the game before buying anything worth buying, the top rated comments are the same thing from 2011 and kong. still decides to badge of the day this (redacted)...

There should be a meter to tell how close you are to the ground - i lost prob about 124k just now because the ground decided to come into impact in three seconds instead of the usual 10 -_-

I agree with most here, to stretch the game out by making things ridiculously expensive kinda takes the fun out. I don't mind a little grinding, but this borders on just being boring due to not the difficulty, but the grind.Reminds me of a ps2 game stella dues. I really wanted to like that game, but the crazy exp grinding has had the save file stuck on the 2nd chapter for who knows how many years now.

TIP FOR GETTING THE 50K ACHIEVEMENT~~~ This badge actually isn't all that hard if you understand the scoring system for the game. In as little space as possible, this is what you have to do- propeller hat+golden cart+very high jump(tilt cart backwards for extra lift)-->Forward Flip+Up-n-Out+Superman+Up-n-Out Flip-->Handstand(hold until the screen turns sky blue)-->Hanglider(hold as long as possible)-->land without crashing. You can do some ground tricks if you want, but it shouldn't be necessary. EXPLANATION~~~Basically, every time you complete a trick, you have about half a second to start another one. If you do this fast enough, your score won't resolve, and you can keep adding to it, creating a chain. # of tricks*total score for tricks=chain score.

This game is just plain awful. All i want to do is get my powerup points from badge of the day and the terrain is making it impossible

This game used to be fun in shopping cart hero 1... It's just not the same. Developer please lower prices but not to much, I did 10 jumps, got 1000 cash. Not even enough for better wheels.

Came on thinking 'ooh, the developer made a sequel?? How come I've not hear about this?'. Played the game and found out :P

Ok, I finally just finished up getting every badge. Here's a few tips that had I known, it would have saved me a lot of time. To trigger the worm fight, you need to buy the dumpster plus bat. Jump like normal then do a Dumpster dive, you'll dive underground. To beat the worm just use the bat to hit the bombs he drops back at him. To get to monkey to appear, you have to buy the golden cart and hanglider. Jump and press up down up to activate it. For awhile I thought you could only hit the bombs at him, but use the bat to hit the bananas he throws at you, back into the balloon. For the 50K points. The pole vault will be key. Make sure you do multiple tricks then use the hang glider and handstand. So it should be something like Handstand x 6, when you glide to the ground, pole vault as many times as you can and do tricks while in the air. hope this helps.

This is one of the worst games on the site. Why would you even add badges to a game that sells a dumpster for 120k. and you can only make around 4k a turn if lucky.

Even the monkey mini-game had a very random feel to it. I have to agree with everyone else, this was a painful 15 points, and not very fun. If I wasn't almost there by the time I felt like quitting I would have stopped.

What is a 2X combo? I'm on jump 61 - I've done up-and-out 3 times on a single run and I've done up-and-out with superman on a single run, but no Turning Tricks badge.
I agree the upgrades are way too expensive.
