For the hard badge you don't need to "land" to get the score points you need. You can just get a really good jump up and hold back for a flip while using the handstand trick. You can crash and die, but it will still count whatever you managed to get before you hit the ground.
And who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and land it anyway?

Just got the first 2 badges. My highest distance was 693, so the 2nd badge is not that hard. The third badge....i won't even try getting it. I rate this game 2/5 because of the refreshing issues everyone is talking about. Also the fact that groupies are so damn expensive and the fact that you can't the 3 groupies upgrade without having the previous two its just plain stupid. Finally, the game is too repetitive.

So, i got the hard(wasn't really hard) and the easy badges, but, what about the medium? the best i got was 307, and i have everything maxed up, i simply can't get any further, no matter if i jump high, jumplow, bounce off the ground, land smoothly, i simply lose too much speed after 1st hitting the ground.

you get the 600 meters easily by having the biggest engine, the nicest wheels and 2 groupies in the cart for momentum once you hit the ground. Get a good launch and dont really touch anything, bam 600+units! you're welcome

The trick to distance is not luck and bad landing skills. It is a bad hop in and a good jump. The rocket is still firing when you hit the ground and you just hop along. + so people can see this.

Some Tips for getting the Hard Badge
First, Make sure that you have everything upgraded; if you feel like it you can get the groupies but I don't believe they will add to your trick score.
Second, Try to get as high as possible. This happens if you form an upward slant right as you launch. You want to try and get to space if possible. Once the rocket runs out of gas start doing a back flip right away. This is probably going to take a few tries in order to get a good launch
Third, Right as you launch perform a handstand and hold it for the entire time. I don't believe it matters if you land the trick so long as for a second the trick score was over 1800 but you do have to finish the trick by jumping back into the cart.
