If you travel along the boarders from corner to corner without ever stopping, you basically never get hit since the boarders can kill bullets. I got multiple 50+ combos on L19 and L20 without even trying for a combo

"Sir, the reports are in." "For what mission, that one against the ship that has no weapons?" "Yes, sir" "Alright" "Umm . . . it's still alive. You know those heat-seeking bullets that only aim for the blue ship? Well . . . it used those to take us down." "Our entire army was out-done by a ship that has NO weapons!? We need to take advantage of this. Next time, we follow its idea, and equip NO weapons on our ships. Our enemies won't know what hit them!" "Yes they will, their own bullets."

I find just going around in circles at the edge of the screen is a pretty good strat. The bullets take out other ships near the middle of the screen and those high speed bullets hit the wall instead of you.

worthless comm officer speaking to general of the army:

Lunka, press "R" for restart. But, you will have to start from level one again, its not just restarting the current level.

The main difference from most bullet hells, 1, no pattern, 2, no ability to attack without utilizing enemy attack, 3, freaking huge hitbox with no ability to either shrink it or enter some kind of invincibility frame

The game dev is full of themselves; Expecting people to play the game the "right way" as they intended... Sorry to break it to you, but gameplay of any game is an emergent element of game mechanics. Using inherent properties of game physics is not exploiting game mechanics.

Listen Up!!
One of the best pieces of advice for the hard badge is the just stay on the edge of the circumference of the screen and just keep looping rings of the rectangle until only a few enemies are left. Then take them down as standard. The bullets are destroyed If they hit the edge so staying close to it makes you near invincible except for the rare stray bullet

"Sir, all of our troops have been destroyed by their own missiles." "What?! Why is it that everybody I hire turns suicidal?"

If you finish level 19 with around a 40 combo you can get the hard badge easy by just going around the edges of level 20

On the last round, the final ship comes out: Commander: "OH MY GOD! What the hell happened here?" Private: "Uh, I would have to say, he killed them sir" Commander: "That tiny blue ship? It doesn't even look like it has guns!" Private: "It doesn't sir" Commander: "What the hell has it been killing with then?" Private: "Being faster, smarter, able to run around our ships hitting them with their own ammo, etc." Commander: "-_-"

By the 10th level it gets really hard to SEE all of the missiles headed towards you, let alone TRACK them all, let alone DODGE them all! By the 15th level it is actually impossible to see and purposely dodge all of the missiles. By the 20th level the only viable strategies are to either A) Go in a circle around the map or B) Have a computer play the game for you. I am all for the changes you made, but don't call out the player base for "exploiting" something that is basically one of the only ways to beat your game. It's like if someone told you to try beating an FPS without reloading, sure you COULD reload and make it easier for yourself, but there are other guns that you could pick up and use instead...

Love it! Except it's too big for my laptop screen... highly satisfying mechanic for a game addict like me! Makes intricate dodge patterns actually FUN.
