I love picross, and this is one of the better versions I've found. However, it's really really difficult to see the light grey color. It's also really tricky to keep track of the numbers when they expand into the drawing, because they become difficult to read. I keep messing up because of the format of the game, not because I'm not good at picross, which is a little frustrating.

I really like this kind of puzzle, it's enjoyable, interesting and challenging. This format makes it really difficult in a bad way - hard to see the list of numbers when you need them and they cover the puzzle when they pop out, and you forget they are hidden so it's easy to screw up. Really needs a bigger window so you can see the complete list of numbers without it intruding on the puzzle while you're solving it.

there should be better contrast between some colors and definitely a full screen mode. Apart from that it's a great addicting puzzle game :-)

Needs a full screen option, bit of a pain to squint at the numbers in full view on the big ones. My nrain can't handle zooming in! lol. Otherwise a really nice version of nonograms. Cheers.

Journeyman 11 does NOT need a guess. Say C1R1 is bottom left row and column. Then you can fill in C5R7 because of the 6 in row 7. That means C5R10 must be an X, otherwise there would be a chain of 4 in C5. Now, if row 10 had a 3 to the left of this X, then C2R10 and C3R10 would be filled in. This would mean that C2R9 would be filled in, but C3R9 would be an X, which is impossible as row 9 has a 3 in it. So, the row 10 3 must be to the right of the X in C5R10. Then you can fill in C8R10. Easy from there.

Did anyone else see the final puzzle on Grand Master and just "nope" out for a second there?
And yet I'm back. Because I must solve it. *twitch*

WHY, just WHY not leave enough space near the frame so the numbers could fit. I HATED it when the numbers pop up only when I'm on the related column/row. Yes, good game concept but that has nothing to do with this specific game. It's sad that the graphics and shapes are actually cool and the number and difficulty level of the puzzles are pretty satisfying, because it's still unbearable to me.

I would dearly love a fullscreen mode that lets me see more of the puzzle. I hate having to scroll around to find things.

Often I run into a state which is not accepted but with every number disabled... for exemple http://imgur.com/YRCMT3T

Fun puzzle game, only complaint is...
White colored text or gold colored text on yellowish background is not good for the eyes ._.

Finally: a game that adds color to the Picross formula while managing to keep the interface simple. Just what I've always wanted. 5/5

This game has been putting me to sleep every night for a week! I play a little puzzle or two, find my center, listen to the lovely guitar music, and face-plant into my keyboard before wandering off to bed. Love it. <3

Why on Earth does this *not* have badges? There's a lot of junk on this site that does, and some real gems that don't. It's never made sense to me. I love nonogram puzzles, and the Picma games provide some of the best I have seen.
You're right -- this was a bit overlooked. I'm going back through older games now to look for things that might be worth adding badges to, and I think I'm going to add this to my list if the API works well enough.

I just realized that there are articles on the paper on the title and options screen. It's actually interesting. Fascinating how much atmosphere you can create with just a few well-chosen words.

A well done example of one of my favorite types of game. Just wanted to say that sometimes the colors do not provide much contrast - I'm not colorblind, but the brown and the purple on the last Journeyman puzzle (the potion) are really hard tell the numbers apart. It's kind of important.

I love these kind of puzzles. My only problem is that they are addictive. Can't solve a level one day, come back the next and it's cake

Nice game... but did you really have to make the red and green colors so obnoxiously close together? I'm red/green colorblind, and while I can often tell the two apart, when the shades are close or not particularly vivid, it's very difficult, particularly when they're not against a white background to begin with :(

Nonograms are great. The pictures, here, are nice and complex which is fun. It would be great if the numbers were pushed *outside* of the game board - it's super annoying to have them in the way when I'm working out an area. Also, please use colors that contrast better. Some levels are difficult to see the difference. ..on a similar note, maybe offer a "Color Blind" option: shapes instead of colors, or something. Fun game, for sure. Just a few changes to make the game awesome. :-)

This really only becomes a problem in the Master set, but there are just some puzzles that are impossible to solve because of those stupid numbers that keep getting in your way.

For those wondering about the "What-if" - it lets you try a "partial solution of the puzzle" You get to fill cells and then decide wether or not to actually apply them. Helps a lot when trying out stuff.

If you completely filled a row in what if mode, the numbers grey out. if you discard it, the grey number wont turn back until you manipulate that row again. just a minor thingthough

Nice game; wish it had badges. It irks me how the angle of the pen is the opposite of what I'm used to seeing with the typical mouse pointer. Don't know if this bothered anyone else. The animation while dragging annoyed me too. I am really irritable today though, so it could just be that.
