Picma is like suduko but with colors, so rather than just having a bunch of numbers at the end you get a pretty picture, plus if you mess up it's a lot easier to catch it.

The only thing that could make this better would be a colour blind mode/slightly different colour scheme - as it is I find it almost impossible to tell the difference between the 2 reddish colours

best nonogram game on kongregate. still, it isn't perfect. The numbers are hard to read, the time for medals is too short, there are some puzzles that need guessing and worst of all, it lags. How comes there are heavyweight shooter games that don't lag at all, yet such a simple game lags so much that you have to wait 5 seconds until the quill arrives where your mouse is? that seems to only happen as long as it's inside the play field (highlighting bug?), not when it's on the side with the numbers.

Edit: the second last puzzle *of Journeyman's puzzles* seems to have no logic solution; feels like you have to guess there... anyone's got an idea?

I relly like that - used to do loads in printed version. The game has some major annoying flaws.
Sometimes the numbers do not fade away even if the box has been coloured (and both sides have been crossed out) - which made me make mistakes. It would be useful to have a possibility of fullscreen as numbers were illigible on top of the coloured boxes, or dissapeared in the row wasnt highlighted - again without that clarity I made annoying mistakes.
And the last thing- badges would add great value to the fun.
I like that game, hope the next version will be improved :)

I noticed a little bug concerning the copper, silver, and gold medals. If you successfully complete a puzzle, you only get one of them, therein lies the problem. Say, for example, you got a gold medal on a puzzle. Since gold is a better medal than silver and copper, you should automatically get all three, but instead only get a gold one. It doesn't detract from the game experience in any way, but it slightly irks someone like me who is a bit nit-picky when it comes to details.

you should really be able to zoom out more. especially with the larger levels. the current zoom levels just dont cut it.

Grand Master #3 is impossible :S Even when I use the coin to get 2 lines I always just get stuck... Too much space for too few coloured boxes.

The Bori Fruit puzzle has 2 different arrangements for the last 4 squares, both of which completely fit the numbers. So does the Gryphon puzzle. Of course, you can tell which one is the right one because it just looks right, but still, a "paint by numbers" type of puzzle is really only supposed to have 1 solution that fits the numbers.

The only comment I have is the secound Journeyman puzzle is named incorrectly. It's called "Anchors way" but it should be "Anchors aweigh"

I like the idea of the game. It's a lot of fun, allthough sometimes you just have to guess where to start (or maybe that's just me being stupid...)
The time's pretty much useless...if you don't just take it as something that wants to tease you.
Other than that, I really really liked it. It's cute, attractive and fun.

@grimo1re Are you sure you're reading them right, the numbers are, & always have been correct for me, & I just checked those two levels in particular.

I really hated this game until I read in the comments about the magnifying glass. Now it's awesome, but some of the colors are really similar and hard to distinguish.

i find the colours are too similar and i really need to strain to distinguish between the numbers on the borders. i also dislike the auto correct. its also a real pain in the arse that the coloured squares cover the colum numbers. ive seen this game done so much better

If you use the 'what if' option to fill a puzzle in and then click 'discard', the row numbers stay grayed out, instead of recoloring like they do if you had removed them yourself.

Detection of the shift key is spotty at best. I keep getting penalized for drawing when I'm actually try to mark off a square.

After making my comment I realized that the feature I was complaining about can be turned off, my bad. I usually notice those things... whatever. Changing rating to 4/5
