Some colors are hard to distinguish when they are written as the numbers on the edges. Purple and brown look very similar. Making the colors more different, or making the numbers bigger, would fix it.

With all the wasted space on the left, there is no reason for the left-side numbers to splash on to the board and be covered up by the pencil marks on the puzzle. Draw them left [2]

um... its really easy to cheat on... you don't need to change colors or make xes itl automaticly do what belongs in the cell

its a good game but nowhere near original... they took this idea straight from the armorgames game "Picross." So for that i give a 4....
because it brings back old times

get rid of the assist feature, or maybe allow users to turn it off, also, it would be nice to be able to see the whole puzzle on the grand master level

Congratulations on finding a neat way to translate the popular logic game into computer game format. I'll give you a 3/5 for coding it, but you'd need a full-screen mode (easier zoom controls) for a 4/5, and some sort of twist on the formula to get a 5/5.

I really got to stop commenting here...Lol...
And Vaetrus, I know there are other Hanjie games on here...But this is most certainly THE BEST.

Nice environment and music, cool concept. One thing I dislike though is that you can win simply by clicking all of the squares. Eventually you'll get it just because it automatically puts X's where it's a wrong tile. So it adds time to your counter, big deal, what difference does that make? Not like there's a competition for best time going on. What I'd like to see is more of a "free" hand, kinda like mine sweeper I guess, where you can either color or tag, and pick the color you want, so you could put down a wrong color in the wrong place and it won't tell you, you just won't win the puzzle. But over all, not bad. 4/5

@Badgy: There actually are two, I think it's two, other picross games on Kong. And Hanjie or Picross are fun to do. But what's the point in a timer or badges, you can easily redo the puzzle after you know the image.

My suggestion would be to remove marking the incorrect boxes - it would me much more fun and a bit more difficult. Now you can simply try things out and when you finish replay the board to max the score. Also there is huge probability of missclick, especially when you mark several boxes ahead.

A decent example of the genre. Very exocative graphics, and the requisite colors add a new bit of twist. The medals are kind of pointless, though. You can do it once and miss stuff and get a horrible time, and then once you know what it is, you can go back again and get an instant gold.

Pretty good. And yes it is like picross and at the same time no it isn't. However, it is just as time consuming, and unfortunately has the same low replay value as picross.

This is Picross?
Well, new for ya...PICROSS ISN'T ORIGINAL EITHER...
Picross was based on a Japanese Logic Puzzle called Hanjie...So Picross isn't original EITHER...And to be honest, this website needed a good Hanjie game.

People who like these picross puzzles should check out www.conceptispuzzles.com
They have the multi-color types as well as a bunch of other types of picture and number logic puzzles.

Game keeps glitching for me. Every time I click a puzzle, the game stops responding, and freezes as the selection screen.

And Daelon, I've done these puzzles loads, and they can all be worked out with just logic, assuming they've been made properly. You just have to find the right techniques.

Nice, old game done in a good looking, pleasant Flash. Only problem about it is the changing colours can be annoying somtimes when the colour you start with changes each puzzle, so you start with a 1min penalty for your first click :( So, 4/5

Logic puzzles are good, but I don't like the ones where I think you have to TEST things. I think there should only be need for logic in these kind of games *sigh*
