Well I've gold or platinum starred every room including the secret room (and platinuming the final boss room), but i can't figure out how to gold star the ice world bonus room.

in whelps have wings I have used less total tools than is required for gold, and its not counting it because I used more meat.

An interesting feature in the next game would be gates that requires Questy to step over them twice before they go up. They would make the planning have to go one step further. Maybe also stacked loot bags? :)

I didn't use any meat on the A Little Help From My Friends and got a platinum solution, but I'm curious how the usual gold solution would look. :/

Awesome game. I like the new additions while you maintain the core concept. The moving enemies add an element of timing, similar to the thief and boulder from the first one. The Crypt levels were HARD, but as with the first game, solving was satisfying. I'd love to see another.

I did it! All gold, 10 platinum(missing Veiled Retreat and Her Royal Highness, Kro'la)! Awesome game! Certainly a 5/5 and favorited! I loved it, the puzzles are very nice, really creative, it has some quite unique and nice features, the map desing was great and the difficulty curve perfect, with easy levels on the beggining, as well as TRULY EVIL ones in the end(name that The Alchemy Lab and The Chamber Of Souls xD), each of those took 1+ hour to complete, but in the end it was really rewarding when i finally figured them out. By the way, really awesome game, i hope there's a 3rd one coming ;D

This is a fun puzzle game and I've quite enjoyed it but what I don't get is: If questy loves gold so much WHY doesn't he gravitate towards gems as well??? XD Love the music in the game too. 5/5

@sotlat: You oversimplify. The actual point is that there is no noticeable difference in difficulty between Bronze, Silver and Gold for most levels. For me it didnt make the game less worthwile. But it's worth mentioning from a game designer/developer point of view.

I disagree with many people saying that knowing how many stars to end with makes it the game easier. All it does is make the math easier for each level. It would take longer than it's worth to explain it. The important thing is that you know what the requirement is for gold stars for each level. Try playing any game not knowing what your goal is!?!

Should add, good work on the story too. So often overlooked, many dev's feel that to improve the game mechanics is all thats needed.

I had a really great time playing this game, it is well though, lots of innovation from the first ep., lots of fun again, and it is awesome that one could solve rooms in platinum. 5 star game, one of the very best in Kongregate. Thanks!!

Great game. Gold stars are a bit easy because one knows about the exact numbers of remaining loot bags and one-way gates. And less loot bags/one-way gates mean less ways to combine them. Apart from that 5/5

Definitely one of the most awesome and favourite game I found on Kongregate. Got all gold stars and 12 platinum. Don't have the one for "The chamber of Souls" for which I already had a long time for gold rating, but the bigest bugger for me was gold at My alchemy lab. After returning day after day to try the last open quests again and again, I even still could imagine just to come back for the last platinum. Rarely spend so much time squeezing my brain for a game before I consider looking for a walkthrough. Only small drawback: Gold has always the same amount of items left, which takes the quest of figuring out what is needed of the given items, but that's made up a bit after realising that many times it even works with less than that. 5/5, favourite, and signed up to newsletter :D

Why do you guys expect the dev to know how many platinum there are? I bet they just added platinum only for the guys that find better solutions then them. So probably they don't know the best solution in many levels ...

It's a very nice game but you should really consider the colorblind/color impaired. I have a really hard time making out the green arrows on the brown background for example.

Dunno if anyone else but me noticed this, but it's been driving me nuts: Almost every room leaves you with at least 2 of each item (Provided you get a gold rank on the room) and hardly any more or less. Other than that, it's a fun and challenging upgrade from the first game. I'd love to see more of this game.

@starman - I had to go back to the tutorial level to get the 34th gem. Apparently I paid no attention to it when I went through the tutorial the first time. You can access it through "Adventure Training" on the main menu.

I am staring at "pack your backtrack", bronze exit with 4 money bags and 3 gates in inventory, trying to figure out how so many people picked up the gem without falling into the pit... and suddenly I remembered if Questy sees two money bags, he'll go to the closest one first.

On the "sweet lure of meat", how did they determine gold and silver stars? I get a "gold" if I still have 2 coins, 2 cages, and 2 meat left over, but I only get a silver if I have 3 coins, 1 cage and 5 meat left over... thats 3 less items used for a lower grade!!!
